He is very clever. He knew the product was good and everyone will fight for it. And to grab the deal,he may had to go even under 1.5% equity. So,he convinced everyone and made a deal where everyone is involved,everyone gets 2% of equity,no one argues. Clever move,really clever move

When the guys say it's a deal and look at ashneer expressions.. He wakes up smiling and looks at piyush and anupam its like telling them look I pulled it off.. The deal was gona go or could have gone to 6% to settle down but ashneer pulled it off at 10% by doubling the investment but times 5 increasing the asking stake from 2% to 10%

The way ashneer played with words such as risk and a brilliant double up scheme played (instead of 50 lakh pulling up to 1cr) well played ashneer made every shark pay 30 lakh less at the same equity %. Man now I know why he's so big

Both guys were desperate for capital as it was visible on their faces. However, it becomes a win win equation because they have 5 investors instead of one which will help them scale it big in all kinds of market space. This is one of the reasons they asked for mocktail preparation as it is a huge untapped market. So i guess every body won

Actually they did right to come together , ashneer says right they have invisible problems because these 5 sharks have to compete with blue whale company coke and PepsiCo, they required at least 200 crore to stay in this market .. Poor deal from founder's perspective. They don't have good negotiation skills. Founders could have easily closed this deal at 5 percent. but, they closed this round with same previous evaluation which was 10 crores.
