MW2 is the perfect balance between MW2019 and CW visually, it has that gritty look that MW2019 has but it uses more saturated colors like CW, I think it makes the world look more alive while still feeling very real.
you are misreading it. its just that mw2 is more colourful than the gritty looking mw. much like their og counterparts. which is actually really good cause i can finally see shit.
@@jaquillamros3475 a james bond game developed by 3arch or some company idk, edit: edited this comment because I want to include the fact that I think the james bond game utilizes the same engine as the mw series
Feels good to see the M16 in MW2 2022 again as in actual weapon. Not like in MW 2019 where you would have to get a blueprint that had the M16 Ironsight
It's a common gameplay mechanic: CS, Valorant, Apex, Siege all have it. Unsurprising that IW wouldn't add it because they want to make it feel authentic/ realistic.
@The Seraphim when listening to real guns you can especially notice these in the AK type weapons and some pistols like the beretta m9 and fun fact one of the first game to have this detail was Medal of Honor 2010
@The Seraphim That's what makes it unrealistic because not every guns make that sounds, even though some guns has it then it wasn't supposed to be heard easily unlike in Cold war, this sounds is so annoying in Cold war just like CSGO
Cold war really did push it’s game engine a lot to the point some of the guns like the type63 only had one reload animation they cut in half but still I liked the game a lot and I’m waiting what trayarch is gonna do with the new game engine
The only real issue with MWII to me is that they keep making the models and names of the weapons less and less accurate, because of Activision's irrational fear of companies suing them for giving their firearms some of the best free advertisement there is.
It was picked up by Treyarch in December the prior year, which was before the pandemic and was originally a SHG title in development since BO4. Game was worked on for about 2 years before release, not 6 months.
@@recon1673 there’s not recoil in mw2, what you talking about? It’s the dust particles the obscures your vision that’s annoying. Majority of players agree it’s an issue
@@xoaquimyeray this is where worlds collide, some players want their good ol’ BO1 days, while others prefer the realistic style that modern fps games are going for now.
The Krink in Cold War as a more satisfying reload in my opinion, the way he grabs the magazine by the tip like the magazine is small and tiny while looking at the ejection port at an angle is so cool and I believe it represents the Krinks vibe a lot more "The Cuter and Compact Cousin of the AK Family" Although, the Iraqi Reload does kinda slap
Cold War gets way more hate than it deserves. It was fun while it lasted and far outdid Vanguard, which isn't saying much. But It was solid and I enjoyed it. It isn't anywhere as shit as most people act like it is
@@izziewolf2834 The two do not deserve the hate they have received, they may not be excellent but they are not as bad as people say. I think it’s mostly the Internet that has influenced people’s opinions.
@@Gaunter_ODimm considering Vanguard was more or less advertised as a WW2 shooter im more than disappointed by what they did/what you can do to the weapons
I said it once for MW2019 and I'll say it again, Infinity Ward are King when it comes to models and animations. When I see inspections, reloading and shooting in MW2019 and MW2022 it feels like I'm back in the Marines again. Everything is more aggressive, done with speed and purpose and much testosterone. Cold War is meh compared to MW if I'm to be honest.
@@frankthecat1660 What does destruction have to do with anything I said? See, this is what Salty people do. They deflect the original point and inject their own.
Modern Warfare and Black Ops have different aesthetics. Modern Warfare tries to be as authentic as possible, even for weapons that don't actually exists, where Black Ops has the look and feel of action figures duking it out in a playground.
My brother in christ, Treyarch never was cartoonish, that nonsense started in BO4, you guys are just making up excuses to defend Treyarch for their mediocrity
crazy how good cold war came out to be considering it wasn't even supposed to be made, game was clearly rushed but at the end of the day it came out better than I expected with my favorite campaign of any cod game
Bro am I the only one who thinks MW2 is actually dope this year? Solid gameplay, amazing maps(except for that museum map), amazing movement (I hated people slide canceling anyways), amazing gunplay, etc. I actually like this new CoD which I had no interest in.
i hope its gonna be dope. beta was amazing. slide cancel not being there was hard getting used to at first after having played MW19 for most of my time tho i like it not being there. gunplay was really good. lets hope they dont fuck it up later on
It is dope. gonna have to disagree about the museum, though. it's got ALL engagement ranges on it, which I love in a map. You can rush with SMG/shotgun, AR's are good on it, as well as battle/marksman/sniper/ LMGs on sight lines. Hallways, open rooms. Small rooms, places with lots of cover, and hardly any cover.
@@hachidaime8154 what are you talking about? Cold War was supposed to be next years cod, not 2020 Activision screwed them over by telling them to release it while it was still cooking.
Mw2 grenade blasts look awesome. You can see the dust kick up from far spots from the flying shrapnel. Looks great. I think mw 2019 still looks more realistic but this is still good.
I like how they used almost the same model from Cold War to mw2 because they would always change it every game release but now it’s like it seems real with the guns
Siendo honesto Sigo prefiriendo el CW ante el MW19ZZZ, y el MWII lo dejo al mismo nivel de preferencia que el CW (aunque sea un DLC del primero, pero minimo son menos los que hacen el cancel)
Im really interested on MW2 as a Cold War player, but Nuketown and zombies will always be my love on CoD, so I prefer to wait for a new Black Ops. Also everytime I buy a triple A game I feel I will never recover from that purchase.
Cold War looks far better on the consoles no lie! Playing it after MW2 and the ray tracing, lighting and textures are far better. Current set up is a Series X and Samsung Frame 75’
COD animations are getting more and more over the top, eventually reload and inspect animations will have your character bashing the stock into their shoulder as hard as possible.
is it weird that i prefer how cold war looks in a lot of these examples? MW2 absolutely beats it on sound design but I actually prefer some of the gun models and rendering in CW.
I must admit, pulling the grenade pin using teeth while the gun is still present in Cold War is kinda cool. Sadly, you cannot shoot while holding ths grenade.
Honestly Cold War got over hated on. The game will probably go down as the last traditional cod game. Because from now Activision just wants cod to be mw19 in different time periods and I don't see this design philosophy leaving any time soon
@@shrock6970 I’ve played since mw2 with mw2/mw3 having the most playtime. Mw19 is slower but I’m talking about the feel and graphics of the game, it’s by far the best
@@teletubbypo318 It results in every cod game feeling the same and always slow paced. MW and CW felt very different from each other from a gameplay perspective, same with Ghosts/Advanced Warfare, BO3/IW, MW2/BO1, and so on. Now it seems like Activision wants every game to derive straight from MW19's framework, Vanguard was a complete copy paste of MW and it felt nothing like a Sledgehammer game. MWII of course has some major differences from MW but I'm still worried about whether or not future games will feel any different.
Not really, Cod Games were made usually in 3-4 years, so essentially MW2 was made back in 2019, right after MW. Remember there are multiple studios working on different COD titles
Modern Warfare II (2022) deliver a tactical and chrip sounds, while BOCW deliver a quick action 80s hollywood. Both are great since the game we're release, including MW (2019), hell every Call of Duty it's own style. *Except putting an EX-1 in post-WWII game, which I don't understand why, despite the game said "Witness the rise of the Special Forces as players drop into new locales with authentic World War II loadouts."*
Alright I know it’s a small complaint but they really need to give the HK’s the full annular shroud around the front post, it just don’t look right lol
I mean considering treyard is also working on MW22 I noticed that the colour scheme that they used for MW22 is actually look similar to cold war. It makes the environment on the game looks more alive
