I love seeing him and his deps along with all the city and state L.E.O's all pitch in where they work as 1 team... L.E.O, F.D or Tow all work as a team and call out who needs what and they get it..
This is one of the reasons I dislike electrical doodads put on vehicles for the sake of having electrical doodads. I love how the sheriff is a help-out kind of guy with getting the trailer clear.
I hope I don’t hurt Your feelings but when I first saw that Sheriff he kinda favored Your Daddy Ron! I aim for it as being a good memory. ❤ I know You miss Your Dad because I sure miss mine and he also was a Tow Truck Driver and We had a lot of good memories together when I went with him in that Wrecker.
That's another reason this old boomer isn't impressed with all the EV's. When things are working properly, yippee, but when things 'go south', no thanks.
For those asking why not the rotator, he didnt know he would have to lift the trailer, and this smaller truck would make pulling the trailer easier once the truck and trailer were separated.
I love the fact that Ron and his team have such a good relationship with the local law enforcement and fire department. It seems to me that it makes their life a lot easier.
Being able to press a button to open it remotely, sure, I can see the appeal. Having no other option than that button though?!? For doors (including tailgates and hoods) there should always be a manual option. Unfortunately manufacturers do not agree with me on that...
@@paulnieuwkamp8067 Yeah, that was something that kinda upset me with my Focus with there being no manual override, and that was designed way back in 2010. All in the name of security though. Harder to replicate a chip than it is to rake-attack a keyhole.
@@paulnieuwkamp8067They typically do, but the fire may have damaged components making that no longer possible. There's a reason why fire departments tend to just pry open or cut off doors, because an accident may have (or rather most likely did) damaged components preventing the door to open
@paulnieuwkamp8067 yeah, I don't get that on newer stuff. It just garuntees trouble. My SUV remote locks but I can also use a key. I'm happy with an older vehicle if that means two ways to do some important things.
You know when you're working with the fired apartment and the police, when they know you and are willing to help. That proves you have a great working relationship and your respected like family. Doing what you're doing for Terry is proof of respect and how much you care for others in your community. You're definitely one of the best towing businesses in the world, Ron. God bless you for everything you do.
I love that Ron and his team understand that PROPER Code 3 is "let people know you've gotta get through, and pass through red lights in a safe manner" and not "blow through everything at full speed and pray" like some people do. Very responsible.
that just tells you hes a good sherrif. there was an accident in my area one time. local sheriff drove the ambulance while the medics worked on the person
I have to watch Ron every Friday. His videos are always good, he shows the good in people, he always helps with no fuss, he explains things he is doing unless he is in a hurry. Then there is how professional he is, his skill with his equipment and he teaches things. So, weather he is fishing for fish with a rod and reel or fishing for cars with the Rotator, this channel is always wholesome, Christian and just all around awesome. That, like me, could be why you are here every Friday and every other day he releases a video.
I love the teamwork. Everyone is helping and watching out for one another. Terry looked so much better after the last video. God lifted a weight off, and it showed. I will continue to pray for him as he continues to recover and continues to serve others. Please stay safe, and God bless you all.
I watched the clip you made to start the go fund me and just watched the video of Terry getting his new truck. You sir are a man of God and he will watch over you and yours. Thank you.. God bless and have a great weekend.
Normally I don't see the sheriff at calls in any county. But I like this one because it shows he wants to be more involved with his county. Kudos to him. Like here in st.charles county about 2 hours from ron, you won't see our sheriff on a call like this.
One thing I noticed in this video is that is very important to me as a former Towing & Recovery Operator along with being a member of the volunteer fire service and my favorite. A 10 year member to my local emergency service department as an EMT. I noticed some of the first responders had their backs facing traffic. I was hoping someone would notice that and mention that to them it’s always important to have your eyes on the traffic coming at you especially while working on a busy road way such as the one in this video. Great recovery and so great seeing Terry back at it!!
I love the videos when ron is running code hes always so safe and always aware of his surroundings keep up the great work from your viewrs in scotland accross the pond
Ron, I know this may sound terrible but I wish I could see more of your rescues. It's such a treat to watch a MASTER at work. The interaction between you and all the other services, Police, Fire, EMS and all the ancillary teams involved is a work of art. God Richly Bless you and all of your crew in all that you do. I pray always for your safety and well being. BTW, Oscar is becoming a major asset in your arsenal of strategies and expertise. Way to go Oscar. You Da Man ! ! !
It’s cool to see the sheriff out there putting his hands on to help on scene. He’s not just a seat warmer in his truck or office. Good job as always Rob and Midwest Truck.
Man I loved this video the sheriff was so cool he didn’t want to stand around and watch he wanted to work, he was the best helping ron when Ron never asked he just took the ropes and he just got in there and busted his rear end, the sheriff needs a big raise, he was smiling the whole time helping out Ron you could tell he was like a kid on Christmas morning doing what he was excited about, like this video I was smiling the whole time
Good thing that driver was calm and collected. Just lost his job security for a while but wasnt panicking and being difficult to work with, stayed out of the way, got his stuff, let the pros handle it and communicated what was needed. Hopefully insurance pays out that truck so he can get back on the road.
I watched your most recent because it was suggested. I’ve now watched 4 and I just subscribed. I think you guys are great, love your content. God bless all of you and may he keep you and yours safe. I haven’t watched about Mr. Terry but I’ll look and watch it.
Oh yeah, special love and kudo's to Terry. I hope he's loving his new Truck. Good job Ron. Just a brief asside...........Mrs's Ron sure is a lucky woman.
Im glad everyone was safe & the Sheriff is a working sheriff, not one that sits behind a desk all day like the one up here. Great video Ron. Also looks like the lilte Pete needs a new windshield
That was so cool what you did for Terry. BTW I see you still have the Good Earth trailer from a hundred years ago. Stay safe out there and good to see that Oscar is working out for you.
Hello Ron id like to thank you to all that was there everyone working as a team Law Enforcement , Fire Dept. you and Oscar Great Job there guys ! As always a very professional job by all ! 👍👍
Always enjoy seeing the teamwork from everyone - police, fire, medical, tow, etc - there's a fundraiser going? God bless the reciever of that with the best. Thank you for the amazing videos sir.
I love your intro music that is so cool. I like all your videos man. They’re really cool. I wanted to do that once in my life, but it’s too late now I’m just a truck driver.
I spent my younger years growing up in buffalo MO with my grandparents tending to cows . I always liked how everybody out there always was very friendly and waved to you when you were passing them even if they didn’t know you . You guys have a great working relationship with the FD and PD . Good stuff sir ❤🐺🐕🐺❤
Thanks for another great video Ron and Oscar. Most interesting to watch for sure. Great work Ron getting that goose neck trailer up over the pickup endgate. You got that trailer around so you could get hooked up to it. Nice work. Appreciate that sheriff helping you out. Was not afraid to get his hands dirty. Nice trooper. You and Oscar did good on that one. That pickup was really burned up on the inside. Thanks Ron. The retired Air Force veteran.
Ram trucks have a manual release, remove the torx’s screws on the plate on the bed side of the tail gate, you will find the two latch motor asy’s with little levers, rotate levers and the tail gate will release.
1:24 ***CHECK THIS OUT EVERYONE....*** I'm a firefighter so Im use to rolling quick in hvy vehs but I would love to run hot in a hvy duty tow trk. So look at Mr. Ron multi tasking running hot, 1st look at the RPM & Speedo gauges....but let me clarify, it's not just going fast, you must be vigilant of everything, esp in hvy vehs that don't stop or maneuver like ur avg veh but he gets an addl applause from me bc he's running a Manuel trans(I believe 18 speed trans). GREAT JOB MR RON, I SALUTE U MY FRIEND.
Nice video and what did you mean by your comment at 14.23... Good have been better..... The sheriff had to close all lanes for less than two minutes... I call that a very, very efficient operation! In all this was a very quick, good and effective salvage operation. Compliments, thumbs up.
Almost 3,000 Views in the first 30 minutes of releasing the video. This is why we love you wrong. You’re an amazing guy an amazing teacher Ann all around doing good to the Lords work. ❤❤❤ God Bless stay safe and and KEEP ON TRUCKING
I wish all Sheriffes would be like him I live in Maryland and Our Sheriff Here are lazy Ron keep put out the videos. You’re doing one hell of a job. Be safe out there and good luck on the fundraiser. I hope you raise the money for Terry he deserves it. Good luck.❤❤❤
Just a heads up! Probably hard to do on this particular truck because of the goose neck, but you can manually open those tailgates by removing the access cover on the tailgate. T30 Torx, then there is a manual release inside!
Great job all around. Ron, sheriff and other first responders. Sad the truck was lost but at least the gentleman was okay. It may be a sucky situation but things can be replaced.
I would guess that was a "Hot Shot" load and now that driver owns a good trailer without a power unit for it. Hopefully he can rent another power unit while things get sorted out.
Lights and sirens on a tow truck running full code for a busted pickup on the shoulder and blocking an interstate? We’d get arrested for doing that in NJ 😂 I love Ron for what he does and for his kindness!!
In a former video Ron stated , that there are only few states who qualify tow trucks as emergency vehicles and he is only allowed to run code when instructed.
Darn shame . Hopefully the cause of the fire is determined . Ram trucks aren’t bad looking but plagued with electrical issues. The job was handled very professionally out standing
I have watched your channel for a few years now and I just realized Florida should instill laws to allow wrecker companies to have lights and sirens(when applicable) to respond at a faster rate for accidents then they currently are able to. My thought process for this is basically be able to restore traffic on roadways faster.
I really wish the old Midwest Truck shirts were still available for sale.... mine was one of my favorites and after a years of use, it's finally going to the great t-shirt pile in the sky...
