Your network ic is bad these new mobile phones are coming with poor quality network ic and other parts their is law no in our country to deal with multinational companies selling spurious goods you need to replace with good quality network ic even the hotspot bluetooth range is 5 meters after that signal becomes weak my 2015 phone running flawlessly i have to just change battery and it will be ok these companies want to suck blood from your bone marrow and give nothing only flagship phones above 1000 dollars are little bit with good quality parts but not that good which lasts for 10 years this whole mobile market is very bad their is no curb no law no legal rules no police just jungle raj and they are exploiting public...😢😢😢😢
Depending on the phone, it does something. Just that it doesn‘t magically boost the strength but instead puts your phone into GPRS. Just like any other weird codes do.
@@FranciscEdwin so basically, GPRS is based on 2G and 2G has a better indoor penetration and in many countries like Germany, Spain and India, also a better coverage, at least depending on the carrier. The phone basically gets tricked into thinking it‘s doing a call and if the LTE/5G signal strength isn‘t strong enough for VoLTE/NR, it will be forced into 2G or sometimes 3G. The issue is that GPRS is practically unusable for anything else than WhatsApp, Signal and Discord texting and also, that this won‘t work reliably. Most phones allow you to disable 4G/5G anyways. The iPhones don‘t and for them, this trick sometimes works. Some phones also get confused about random codes being entered and go into 2G/3G mode. This is most likely what happened here.
