I almost started crying when I heard the theme song. I loved this show as a kid, and the song just brought back the feeling of sitting in front of the TV with my sister to watch this show.

Nostalgia! I used to run home from school just to catch this on at like 3-4 pm.

This is honestly a cool ass concept, I remember watching this show when I was younger but watching it now again in 2020 I see how much of a good plot this show actually has. They should totally give the characters a modern reboot and remaster the show, i'm sure old and new fans would enjoy it!!

11:51-13:00 ...was one of the biggest nostalgia attacks I ever had. That entire sequence reminded me why I love this show so much and to even this day. When you were little a little kid and you got to saw greatness like this on TV, you'd always have your mind blown of how awesome this was as well as wishing you were able to do the same things as these kids. And the fantastic music makes things even more awesome especially the instrumental version of "A World Without Danger" on that sewers/factory scene!! And not even that, this show perfectly does a combination of drama, sci-fi, action and comedy, all making this show completely fun and worth your time. A true gem from the amazing lineup from Miguzi on Cartoon Network. Code Lyoko is my #1 favorite cartoon show and I plan on becoming a loyal Lyoko fan until the day I die.

Always made it home just in time to see this and "Totally Spies", no joke. I mean, obviously I had my interest in stuff like Rurouni Kenshin and Samurai Jack, but this was my JAM.

It's strange, I ask people if they've ever heard of this show and most haven't. I'd sprint down the drive-way into the living room n' turn CN on to watch this, then go outside with a fake sword and pretend i was fighting X.A.N.A in Lyoko. hahha,

This show was always on at 5:30am for me when I was a kid. I would set an alarm just to get up and see it because I loved it so much!!! Watching this now 10 years later is such a crazy blast from the past. Glad to see so many people share the nostalgia. What a fun show

This just took me back to 1st-5th grade! This was one of my top shows hands down, the nostalgia of watching this with my older brother after school and thinking the animation was the coolest thing ever just brought back so many memories! As soon as I heard the intro it hit me almost in a bittersweet way where I’m glad I grew up with this show but I’m sad I’ll never experience a show like this again in my life. 20 years later this show is still as enjoyable as when I came home at 6 years old begging my mom to let me watch this instead of doing homework, love this show and love the nostalgia 🤍

my dad HATED this show for some reason that was never explained. Like he didn't let either I or my brother watch it so we did it in secret and it felt rebellious. but the degree to which he hated it was just irrational.

When Xana was spying on Tamiya and Milly through their computer I could tell he was registering Milly’s anger and sadness. It’s like he feeds on negative emotions and how it makes him more powerful in a way.

This show needs a reboot with some better dialogue. Better animation etc. or a continuation that takes place after season 5. Not some stupid code Kyoto evolution.

The last time I watched this animated series on TV was 8-10 years ago. For the past few years, I have tried to find it from time to time, and today I finally found it. I have never experienced such intense nostalgia before. I even remember briefly playing some simple browser game based on this series. An episode with a bus sent by AI to a power plant, an episode with nitrous oxide poisoning, an episode with samurai armor coming to life, an episode with builders arriving to reconstruct a warehouse in which all the equipment of the main characters was hidden… I am very excited about this and now I know what I will spend my free time on in the coming days or even weeks. P.S. I am not responsible for any damage caused by the Engrish in this comment, since I am not a native English speaker, and since I am so hyped at the moment.

Jim has such good character development. I just finished watching the final episode and decided to watch the first one again to see the differences. Jim ends up becoming way less harsh and is kinda funny sometimes

Well since Corona is going on, time to watch my favorite childhood show!!

The theme song makes me cry when I hear it. It's a really beautiful song and very nostalgic. I also think cartoons were more mature back then and maybe it because the kids back then were different. I don't think a middle school girl prancing around in her undergarments (surprised no one mentioned it) would fly on most of today's children programming but I love that they included it because this was definitely me back in the day lol. I would dress up in my room, put on make up, and etc. Lowkey it's still me now lol. Oh yeah and I definitely think yumi's bath scene would've gotten cut. But I love the realistic little details.

Does anyone else remember Mega XLR? Also, Billy and Mandy, Avatar the last Airbender, Adventure time, Regular show, Samurai Jack, and Symbiotic Titans were some of my favorites growing up. Man we grew up in such a golden age of cartoons/technology.

All of the 2D background art here is beautiful, to me it's the show's most well-aged aspect - Reminds me of Persona 3 & 4. The Sci-fi aspect is pretty cool too. One day I hope to be as good as the artist or artists who made these backgrounds. Even the upbeat music had a nice melody too. This and Oban Star Racers rocked.

This show is part of that era that toyed with the idea of what computers were really capable of. The closest thing I can think of to compare it to is Tron.

Looking back as an adult... It's surprising to see how much of a role-model that Jim is trying to be. I only remember him being an idiot back when I was a kid, but he's taking his duty as a role model very seriously! Unfortunately he's just... a little bit harsh with his emotions and reactions. Maybe not the best with kids, but I admire his effort! I really appreciate him coming around as a supportive character in the latter portion of the series.

It feels like we're living backwards
