I'v never seen an AI with this level of general problem solving before, AGI is coming in our lifetimes and probably the singularity with it.

It's still software that someone writes, need to improve and is responsible for. The system around doesn't change just because we have larger datasets. Other optimized AI tasks do much better than this language processing.

@Newmaidumosa When people dream about AGI it’s the AI that is optimized for specific tasks that is useful in the market. A black box is fun but at some point you just want to have things done and not accept random errors.

@@noomade These kind of hyped visualized videos only show succesful limited cases. In the lab not critical products. If we are too eager to guess the future we will be disappointed. It’s more fun to see someone else talk about the success than use the tools yourself.

@@noomade is it relevant to talk about vague fiction like AGI/singularity. AI future is amazing but at same time it’s this glory thing that people still try to find a use for except impress tech people.

The relentless march of AI progress; I'm astounded by the improvements every day. One of the most interesting things about the field for me though is how it's added to the understanding of teaching; training models is almost an art form in some ways. I'd love to know how they're training models for applications like this, but that's akin to wanting to know KFC's secret recipie.

Can you use it with languages like the one on shadertoy? I think it might be GLSL, you can make near photorealistic games on that site with just the one shader running full screen, it's just a very odd way to code, barley "human readable".

I have an ai idea. Make an ai that uses pathfinding, future v 2.8 (a hack client), multiplayer servers (anarchy servers such as 2b2t) and of course make it play for a long time. Maybe a month but you speed up minecraft. Using a mod and I hope to see this 🔜 You don’t have to but it’s a good video idea
