I know this video is four years old but this is exactly what I have been looking for. I have a 2009 X5and I am installing a new module I plugged it in and I got all types of warning lights and check engine lights so they told me I had to take it to Bmw to get it coded. Wondering if this will work for my year?
Hey Chris Wondering if you can help me. I have a 2013 BMW F30 3 series in UK. It was showing error code 804843. 804843 is short to ground Old lock works first time but then stops after it throws that code. New lock never works at all or show any fault. Does a new boot lock need recoding and can I do this with bimmercode and that wireless obd?? BMW have told me it's plug n play but as the car isn't picking it up I'm thinking it needs recode of rear electric module (REM) to acknowledge new boot lock. What do you think? Thanks
Can yuou change the hight of it, The car i bought (F31) had one retrofitted but i hit the head in the trunk all the time because its to low. So i need to manualy lift it higher
I have a 2011 535i (F10). The tailgate option does not even appear in my menu when in Bimmercode. Is my car too old for this or is my Veepeak OBD-II adapter the problem? I have a power trunk; however, I do not have the 2 buttons as you do. ---- This is the MAIN reason I bought this stuff. I'm going to throw a little girl fit if I can't do it. Lol
On your other vid top 5 bimmer coding what code name was it that you use to get your mirrors to fold in on lock with the handle? I was able to get it to fold in with the key fob but not with the handle. Thanks brah
@@chrisslife3639 Yes. I have key fob and under driver exactly likes yours. Except mine is X3, F25 body, N55 engine, 4 wheel drive. I might have to wait on a budget to get both App and plug in. Thanks for this info.
Not dumb at all lol. You just need to buy the adapter and a one time bimmercode fee which I think is $30 if I'm not mistaken. After that you can do all the codes you want
