I have made a LOT of mistakes in my career as a programmer, and I mean…A LOT
And through this process of trial and error I have identified 5 of the biggest learning to code mistakes that beginners most commonly make that hold them back from advancing their skills as a programmer.
Why should you listen to me? Well I have been a software engineer for more than 2 years both as a professional at a big company as well as a lead engineer at a tech startup - and when you do that, it TURNS OUT you learn a few things about what works and what doesn’t
CHAPTERS:
0:00 Don't allow THESE MISTAKES to slow you down
1:13 Every beginner makes this mistake
2:31 If you do this, you will waste years
5:40 Why you can't stay consistent
6:40 The ONE QUESTION you need to ask yourself
8:24 The BIGGEST mistake to rule them all

The last point is very true. It's similar to learning music (I'm a musician so it's an easy comparison for me to make).

I can relate really well but as a student in college doing computer science we have to keep learning new languages with new semester but I want to master JS and python as they both provide many advantages the main difference that makes programming language different is that one programming language has that capability that other one doesn’t have but learning concepts and then picking up anything Ela is much easier THANKS MAN I won’t make these mistakes now and actually learn

Take a towel and put it in a hot water, remove the water from it and drag it left and right on your eye so it won't be sick anymore... at least 3 time/day until it becomes healthy again

"I could learn any programming language in 1 day." - C++ has left the chat.

Well learning as in the basics not really stuff like pointers and references or you can learn these pretty quickly compared to if it was your first time.

They make lots of apps for practice. And with pydroid 3 being launched on phones, its never been easier than ever to practice wherever you are. I think the major problem is people learn the basics but don't know how to come up with projects :/ excellent points in your vod. (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)

Assembly is intimidating as crap! Well let's say you learn python! Then languages like lua or JavaScript the easier ones will become easier to learn but lets say if you learn c or c++ then the ones like go lang or haskell will become easier to learn i think that's how it works
