Codorniz Campground on Eastman Lake is a great RV & tent campground in California! This way off the beaten path campground in the lower Western Sierra Foothills offers a lot! It has electrical and water hookup sites in addition to dry camping sites. Some sites are offer beautiful views of the lake. And then there is the lake! Fishing, swimming, sailing, kayaking, canoeing and just general exploring. We visited this campground in our Rpod in the winter so stuck to the campground , but enjoyed what is has to offer.

If we had more sun for our solar panels we would have grabbed one of the sites that were down by the water, but after 8 nights being off the grid and having rain off and on, we needed a little electricity! Really nice ranger here too. Thank you! -Heather

Ha ha! I am actually enjoying the time at home, but my employer is still operating under the "Transportation / Maritime" exemption. I am limiting my time there however... stay safe!

I bet this place is packed in the summer. I’ve found most Army Corps of Engineers CG’s really nice. If we are in the area, I’ll keep this one in mind

It was actually fine! We don't go for fancy or RV park style places - we like the outdoors so we enjoyed this. The free HOT shower was one of the best campground showers - nice pressure and hot, but yes in an older building. All good though!
