My 3 oldest daughters ages 22 (twins) and 25 have the BRCA gene. My 25 year old has her breasts removed next summer as a preventative and all are under the care of an oncologist. Their 2 aunts that carry the gene got breast cancer in their early 30's and were lucky to have been diagnosed early by being aware of the BRCA risks and closely monitored by doctors. Early detection ladies, do your self exams and get your gyno visits done every year no matter how unpleasant.
