Too many farms are disappearing, and this song is telling the truth about it. I am thankful to Josh Phillips, who wrote this song, and Cody Johnson for singing it.
Great song!! So beautiful and so true!! The guy in the yellow shirt in the video is actually the one who wrote the song, his name is Josh Phillips. Cody Johnson was the perfect person to sing this song! Great voice!!
I'm getting to be an old Mr. Brice, but I still know my grandmothers were some of the best cooks ever. I learned how to cook a hog's head into head cheese from one (and how to make homemade play-doh), and how to cook any fish (or waterfowl) and make it taste good (including carp and mud-hens) from the other. Where did you grow up Luca? I was born in Iowa but grew up in west Texas. Before I was a teen, my parents brought my grandparents down to live with us. I'm sure it was a financial burden on my folks, but it was great for me. Peace, Love!!
Thanks for sharing a part of your journey! I'm originally from NC, but grew up in woods of SC. I was back in forth from country living in SC to City living in NC.
Hey bro, if you haven't reacted to "Fire away" by Chris Stapleton, you should check it out, but just know it should come with a trigger warning. Just giving you a heads up. Much love bro!!
