@@1KQ_ Yes. The show has been consistently better in the last year than in the time period before then. And when he jumped ship to the Fed it was when that show was still quite bad, although its been getting better.
@@JackgarPrime Looking at how the current backstage situation is in AEW now, do you still feel that way? Cody was the mediator backstage and he left for a reason and now that reason is clear. Khan, Omega, and Young Bucks are ruining the entire company and none of the talent are happy with how things are going. You got Omega and Young Bucks attending a mandatory meeting and trying to say how things should be only for the talent to walk outta the meeting laughing at how stupid they are. All it took was the signing of CM Punk to expose them. Without Cody there, everything has gone downhill backstage and it's a huge toxic environment.
I'm not (really) wishing for it, but given how his second WWE run has gone so far, there will be a kind of poetry to the story if Cody jumping from AEW is seen in retrospect as some kind of "tide turning" moment. The guy gets booed out of the promotion he helped start, and walks back into WWE as the prodigal son, becoming the top babyface and more over than ever.

Tbh I think what made it to such a fever dream is Cody who was mid card at the moment and Brandi as his entourage were booked like THE shit and the crowd just not eating it for so long they were unable to eat anything anymore

Cody always seems to find a way to go against what is wanted/needed & almost always comes off as artificial, but somehow still seems baffled when the fans turn on him. It happened in AEW, and it looks to be happening now in WWE.
Cody got booed out the building every night in that last year or so. It's hilarious how the people in the WWE crowds seemed to love him. As time goes on, we see more & more how & why Cody was such an island in AEW. the bucks & their "we are christian AF but will cut anyone's nuts off or shit on anyone who we don't like." attitude becomes more & more apparent. It's hilarious how the most religious people seem to be the most underhanded & malicious. I don't like the bucks or omega, but I don't even think Omega does it to the level that the bucks do their backstage politicking.
That was cody without being produced..yea im sorry butbpeople need to realize why wwe over produces things..so stuff like that bad Cody Rhoades promo doesnt happen.
I'm so glad they left AEW! Nobody has to listen to his long ass Triple H. promos, nobody has to see Brandi or worse, listen to her. It worked out for everyone!
