He needs to finish Night 2 with blood going down his face and looking defeated as he succeeded in winning against Roman. Then he needs to drop to the mat while his music plays in the background, face first, and just lays there with the title next to him. He turns his head, and mouths: "We did it, dad." The American Hero, Cody Rhodes, returned the title to the land of the Free. Cody becomes the Patriot of the WWE and an idol to the future of the industry.
Heh the storyline is good, cause Roman is in the Rock family and they are also royal family and right now they Reigns ARE THE royals in charge...but here come cody as anothe wrestling royal. So before it was an underdog going all the way, but this time it is underdog +family legacy vs Guy in charge + family legacy. The ultimate pay off.
Not when the results are the same. Cody almost wins and Roman's boys interfere and he loses once again. We've seen this with Brock already except he was solo.
@@charlesmarcus7864 They couldn't give the belt to Cody in 39, it was expected to win, this way they can make it even bigger. Tribal Cheif + royal linege vs Underdog + royal linage. He's walking out there with that belt, maybe Dusty coming back to block rock, could even be Stonec Cold since he was there for the 39 match.
This should be his theme for WM40 where he Beats the odds and finish the story and finish the greatest championship reign the greatest story ever told ❤❤❤
Pt 2 will happen at some point..... ( roman hinted at his summerslam return) enjoy it for now...... ( he still wants his belt back after he's done with solo.......) for now the landlord has other interests lutenet (Roman has left the gc)
Roman has had a good long run with the title. If you are going to end it then end it with the story coming full circle and have Cody Rhodes come back to face Roman at Mania and then go over as Champion finishing his story. Truly the right move at this point in time. We can have Rock Vs Roman at SummerSlam in a typical grudge match and that would be fine.
