This was my first attempt at making a custom remix in Heaven Studio, the Rhythm Heaven level editor that Nintendo recently took down (because god forbid people share their love of a franchise that Nintendo doesn't even currently profit off of anyway, what with the shutdown of the 3DS eShop last year). Full Metal Furies is a really underrated game, especially compared to Cellar Door Games' much more successful Rogue Legacy series, and its OST is still my favorite thing that A Shell in the Pit has ever done. I was listening to the soundtrack recently and couldn't stop thinking about how the syncopated sections in "Coeus" would be perfect for Lockstep, and I finally broke down and decided to actually make the thing.
