Use a mask instead of deleting the extra. Then you have the option of moving the design around to the best possible orientation. Always choose the non destructive option rather than cutting away if possible

Fail. The lack of the actual projection is too obvious. For such a simple model I'd just render it and call it a day, would have a correct GI and DOF as a bonus.

@@A_ViralFunit depends how your tools are set up. But if you pause, the person is using the wand I think. There are more kinds of tools when you right click the one the looks similar. The tools that have a little arrow in the corner have more options.
