1 Key spec that gets overlooked often, specially on "stepless" is the adjustment "intervals". not sure the term, but how minor of a adjustment does it make when you make the least change. Some good ones are at .05 um /micrometer
The adjustment is not specified but to me the thread pitch is quite large so it will not be as small as 5 microns that’s for sure. I have no issues dialling in though.
Since i am in germany i want to buy the german version of this grinder die Emil T64 without the adjustable RPM but they decided to fit the grinder with a black rubber and black dosing cup which is ugly as hell in my mind. Do you think i can order those parts which are originally grey in england seperately? In my mind die Black/white just dont fit in my kitchen.
That might be the best grinder for the money period. Pretty crazy…It’s almost like the new df64. I wonder if that will come out to a wider market soon in the US
@@SteveHowkins if you happen to have a df64v id like a direct comparison between that, or the df lines in general. Also mopre specific to the df64v, the variable rpm compared would be interesting to see as well. Lastly, id like to know if its possible to blindbur mod the grinder in general, considering it has a decent motor. With the df64v, its possible to do a blindburr mod if you drill the side of the carrier and swap the screws for recessed screws from the rear and magnets.
Indeed. Same as the df64 looks a lot like the Lagom P64 that came before it. Guess unless you break the mold not many ways it can be done at an affordable price for all.
18grams, 34 seconds...Into a coffee pitcher? lol, WTflat is that cup? Its the size for a pint of beer!! :-) And when you took a sip, I thought you would be digging depp, but NO!, you took a sip right off the rim!!! Thats a gusher mate!!
