Thank you so much for this video! My motor also had a failed spring after 4.5 years and your fix worked for me. Hopefully there's at least another 4.5 years of life in this ol' girl!
Hi mate, just wanted to take a few moments out of my day to say a big thanks you! This was exactly the same issue that I was having and now we have a coffee machine again 😊🙏
Nice! My motor spins, but I get the red Wrench 1 error every 3 or 4 pulls after disassembling and reassembling. I've been taking apart the grinder, cleaning stuff, adjusting the grinder... I'm not sure I would ever have found this. Thanks for posting the video!
Thanks. When I got the wrench error, I thought we were going to need a new grinder motor. Instead, I took one wind off the spring to extend it, and we are good to go.
Thanks for the video fix - just what I needed to fix my wife's coffee machine - in fact you saved my marriage - I don't need coffee, but she is a monster without it! I wonder if it is always the spring on the black wire - since both mine and yours were - I guess I'll have to see if the white side wears out down the road. Maybe based on polarity the negative side sparks more and slowly eats away the spring wire until it snaps.
Hi, thanks for the video but my motor seems to be fine (brushes and springs), I am gettin wrench 2 error and cannot grind. You know what could be the issue?
Yeah, all these suffer from this problem, you can also just unwind one turn from the spring it self to extend that side. Sometimes this will fry the powerboard as well, I guess due to the sparking it creates before it breaks all the way :(
Hi there, my machine used to work with the oily beans but no more. When the oily beans are used, the machine shows "no beans" and dump the freshly grindered coffee. I have tried to clean the grinder but failed. Can you shed some lights? Thanks.
good evening, I also have a coffee machine like yours... and when I press to grind the preparation unit is pushed out... can you help me with some advice? have a nice evening
