I have the Ozark Trail (Walmart brand) 20 oz coffee mug. Thats the best bang at your buck for 15$ for a set of 2. Thats about 8$ with taxes for each mug. They come in black and white. Those are pewtered stainless steel. No complaints about them and they hold the liquids as any vacuum insolated container would do. There is actually no big difference between these vacuum sealed cups, mugs and Thermoses. Its just a smaller cup or Thermos can will not last as long in keeping the temperature as one with an bigger liquid volumen. Thats just how it is. So your Yeti will not last as long as any of the others in bigger size. Its just you pay 3 times the price for the Yeti. I switched over on all my mugs and tumblers to the Ozark Trail Walmart brand. Pay less and get the same quality and function.
I’m with you, all yeti products are overpriced, including the coolers, my Stanley cooler held ice as long as my friend’s Yeti but way cheaper. The Ozark Trail double wall items are incredibly well made I have several different ones and I’m pleasantly surprised with all.
You're so impressed with how nice the advertising is. Maybe you could get a Tshirt that says yeti. And a hat. May as well paint it on your car. And a yeti tattoo.
Thank God I found your channel. I bought 2 of og... brand coffee mug yesterday. it doesn't keep the coffee hot, not even 30 minutes. I'm returning them. Now I know what to buy. Thank you for your helpfull review.
If you see sweat outside the cup or feel warmth or coldness on the outside wall then the vacuum seal is defect. Otherwise there is not difference in hot/cold keeping between all brands. The physical propperties are the same and physics dont change. As long as the stainless walls are the same thickness and the vacuum distance between the walls (inner and outer wall) is the same all cup brands will work the same and hold temperature for the same time. The volumen of the container is determing hot/cold keeping time as well. More liquid volumen (bigger cup) the longer it will hold cold/hot. The smaller the cup is the less time it will keep the liquids hot/cold.
Hi Rob! Nice review... a question about this Artic cup lid... if it has hot coffee, is it leak proof if it is flipped upside down. I want a tumbler that is leak proof. Thanks!
The reason I got here was a ozark cup with a sticker that said not to remove. So I removed it, looks like a piece sht. The reason I bought it in the camping section was to be able to put it on a fire. Guess what’s going back to Walmart?
Lmao, you don’t know that ANY double wall/vacuum sealed product from ANY company is not meant to be put on direct fire? Lmao. Don’t blame the company for your lack of knowledge.
