In this video I am reviewing the GSI Coffee Rocket. I was thoroughly surprised at how GOOD it was at brewing a delicious cup of coffee. I am not sponsored by GSI, just saw this in the store and thought it might be a good addition to my camping gear setup. I usually bring instant coffee packets when backwoods camping or a french press when camping at a developed campsite, but this Coffee Rocket can go with me anywhere. Try it in the winter. The coffee will be almost warm by the time it’s done. I really wish this thing worked better because it first perfectly in my cup.

I purchased this yesterday with rewards points. I am usually pretty doubtful about how good these devices are. This was a real surprise. Suffice it to say i will take this with me on the CDT No more instant coffee! This is great: re-useable filter(!), and its fast (I filled it with coffee grounds, but did not "pack" them in), filled it to the brim with hot water. Turned around took my hot water to the other counter in the kitchen. Returned to find the last dregs of water leaving the filter. Had me a fine cup of coffee. Thank you GSI. This is one of your greats. It will bring me a lot of pleasure on the CDT . . . . however, I will be using it at home too! I am going to go by and look at that cup you put it in. Maybe I'll complete the pkg by picking that up also.
