Does your machine make a dull pumping sound when you go to stream the milk?

also you want a descaling pressure as the shot goes. on this machine at 20bar you really want it at the bottom range of the pressure guage. anything over 9 bar creates bitter and acidic flavors. fine grind, get a bottomless basket, even distribution, weigh your beans....now youre a pro.

Very much enjoyed the video! Refillable pods exist and work very well. I have a refillable Keurig pod in stainless steel dishwasher safe. Love it. There are Nespresso versions as well for anyone who wants to use them.

How do you do flavored lattes? Do you add syrup or what? A local place here adds almond, mocha, and coconut and it’s amazing. Not sure I’ll like just straight latte not sweetened?

😳 that scorpion was no joke! Scary Also, in my opinion, Starbucks does not have the best coffee. I know it’s going to be hard to believe but Safeway has it’s own brand of Sumatra. I get the whole bean and grind it myself for my espresso machine and it is absolutely amazing! It’s so much cheaper than Starbucks but far far superior. You wouldn’t think that from a grocery store brand but it’s really really yummy. ☺️ There’s a tiger on the bag.

Rebekah!!! Hi!!! I’m so happy you got one too!! But that is such a bummer!!! I didn’t have that at all! Please please reach out to their customer service - please let me know if you have any issues in doing that! I do have one contact that has been very prompt that I will definitely reach out to if needed! I’m thinking it could just be a bad one right out of the box?? That’s a total bummer but that actually happened to us with the Nespresso machine! Luckily we were able to get it replaced and fortunately never had any issue with it! Please keep me posted! ☕️☕️☕️

The video was informative, I have a question about the coffee bean. There's so many brands and the roasted level you can buy. I'm yet to hear anyone talk about the different brands and the level of roast so that you'll get that "perfect" single, double shot. I believe that it's just as important to explain the difference. Someone might buy Starbucks and find it to strong, roast is 8/9 not a 5/7 medium roast to get that espresso you can't wait to have. Cheers

It’s a two button coffee machine , I bought one used it, I’m guessing people aren’t reading the directions 😂 turn it on let it heat up have water in it, push the button

Remove the reservoir red tab at bottom of tank , make sure it’s plugged in, I’m trying to help , make sure grounds are at the right level , tamping matters, don’t use tap water

I actually never heard of people heating up the cup but that is a good idea! But, I don’t really drink coffee except when going to Starbucks so that is probably why.

I had a customer order a latte EXTRA HOT and I wasn’t sure how I was gonna make the shot + milk even hotter than I usually make them when this came to my mind. Filled the cup up with boiling water, let it sit for a while, poured the hot water out THEN pulled my shot. Completely burnt my hand trying to latte art with it but at least the customer was happy 😂

Your pressure change is the amount of tamp and amt of grounds not so much the grind size ,, just my I drank a cup opinion 😂

pro tip...weigh out your grinds so you know exactly how much youre using and get a needle distributer to make sure its completely even in the basket. 16-20 grams of grind. play with the amount and you find what you like. if youre distributing well and tamping well, itll be great...you cant over tamp, its impossible. its a 20bar pump and espresso takes 9 bar with a perfect tamp so the machine will get through any tamp pressure you can physically give it. the beans only compress so much...once all the air is out, theres no way to keep compressing. its science lol
