i love this kind vlog. In brazil there are many coffeeshop, but the style of work is a lit different. I went to Japan the last year and the coffee shops blowing my mind. Nice sequence and narrative. the english subtitle help me a lot to understante better keep going to do vlogs
The video is not long at all and not too short. The city looks inviting and wonderful. Reminds me of my aunt/uncle in Taiwan too. Thank you and looking forward to see more!
I'm glad RU-vid recommended your video to me ✨ Since I've started researching on how to roast coffee ☕ It's also nice to meet another Naomi and even more so another Eurasian 🤗 I'm half New Zealander and half Malaysian Chinese.
Beautiful town and super cute coffee shop 🤩. I'd like to visit your country and the coffee shop. Maybe one day 😊. By the way, I'm specialty roaster, great work. Greetings from Mexico!
This video was so cozy! I’ve been wanting to work at a cafe but there are not that many where i live so it’s harder to find a job. I have also been thinking if I should open my own cafe which has been a dream of mine for a while now. By the way, the countryside of Japan looks so beautiful. A lot of people want to visit Tokyo but when i have the opportunity to go to Japan i would definitely want to visit the countryside! ☺️
I love Japanese people and country because of beauty ❤ kindness people ❤😊😊 And I will pray for you to get more subscribers.because your quality of video good 😊😊
So so cute! I’m moving to Japan early 2025 and am hoping to find myself a little cafe job! Can I ask how you got this job? Did you approach the cafe directly or did you find this job through a job listing? I’m a bit anxious about finding a job 😅
I got it through connections and I reached out over Instagram. I’ve seen lots of foreigner friendly job positions posted on Craigslist or gaijinpot! It doesn’t hurt to email or contact them directly too! Good luck!! 🍀
Nice video with beautiful scenery and cute cafe. That roast level is very typical japanese roast, too dark and even a bit oily for nice specialty beans. Does your father is foreigner? you has perfect english and pronounciation.
@@naomi.weiser oooo so nice! Thanks for replying! I’ve started to edit on CapCut this week and I also liked! Is very easy and I liked the result too :D
You can actually just roast on a pan if you want to try it out. They also sell small batch roasters and you might be able to get a good deal second hand. I’d check out eBay or Facebook marketplace. There are also a lot of videos on RU-vid about pan roasting as well! Hope this helps!
Hi Naomi I'm a new subscriber and am starting out as a barista in training, what is the name of the magazine you were reading? I'm also learning Japanese and thought it would be a fun way to keep up with learning thanks in advance 🙏🏽
Ah hi!! Welcome to my channel! That’s so awesome! Tbh I don’t remember the magazine and it was a local one anyways so it might be kinda hard to find, but I would recommend Brutus, Popeye, and Retrip! They sometimes have specific issues just for coffee! Hope that helps and good luck 🫶
The village is very small so everyone kind of knows each other. My neighbor told me she was looking for a part timer and helped me get in contact. Countryside people are always very friendly and generous! I guess I got lucky too!

Haha good question! Some days are very slow so we don’t get too many customers in person. The shop is also located in the countryside so the flow is not comparable to one in the city. I also didn’t film the customers for privacy reasons!
