This video was really good and got the information out, however I feel like being unsympathetic to people who are involved and didn’t really do anything is not really productive

What makes what Birdie/Jack experienced so bad to me is that given the situation it really does kind of feel like Synni was taking advantage of Jack being naive and dependent. Jack clearly from his video expressed not being familiar with having relationships with others atleast irl. On top of that he was in a bad spot and needed help. Synni took advantage of that to get Jack to a point where he needed her and also didnt understand what actions may or may not be abnormal or require harsher boundaries, like touching eachothers body. Synni seems, to me atleast, to have deliberately taken advantage of this because she has some kind of predatory nature about her and knew that she could get Jack to depend on her and that Jack would not readily undertanad that what she is doing is not normal friend behavior. Sorry if this didnt make sense I'm tired 😴

I don't follow you and I'm not here to judge you but I would like to give you my own thoughts and criticisms. This is not an attack on you so please don't think it is like that. I apologize if the English is not perfect as it's not my first language. I feel like your animosity or at least negative bias against Birdie is very visible here, it's not about the drama but it's at least about having decency towards someone young who found themselves into a very tough situation. I understand it was difficult to moderate a chat with so many people, and I will not hold it against you, but you did read the chat and went back to some messages.. messages that were near people telling you that Jack goes by He/It and you didn't acknowledge it, you didn't need to perhaps, but at least you could've apologize and correct yourself, instead you just laugh it off. From your pinned comment: "but one that was entirely avoidable by all adult parties involved." that's incorrect. Jack was abused by his family all his life and Synni was his ONLY choice to get out of there, he couldn't do anything else than accept, and even then, he didn't know anything of what Synni was doing allegedly. Your words put it like he should've foreseen it somehow. Jack haves issues, many issues, and found that his only solace and safe space was a lie, as you said yourself you can relate to it, but still you decided to just joke about it and brush it off again. Synni was his savior, the person who saved him from his abusive life, so no.. he could've not just say no to Synni especially with all his disabilities, without Synni he would've been homeless. As he explained he didn't have any idea of how bad it was but just what Synni fed him, you can't fault him for moving with her at that point and it's inappropriate to ask in chat for their opinion as none can't understand what went through those times. Going about Jack S/A, I belive you were both right and wrong. Jack can feel personally traumatized with what Synni did especially for someone as Jack who made explicitly clear that he has issues regarding about socializing and understanding behaviors. He surely felt violated after all of this going down because he finally understood how fucked his best friend behaves. Perhaps it's not legally classified as S/A still sounded like you brushed off his feelings because of that reason alone. Passing down another point, I feel like you just generally brushed off Jack feelings and experiences while you were watching hisvideo about his experiences., skipping between things, saying in how much you don't care etc. it's very unprofessional. As someone who it's outside this situation, I feel like you not only disrespected the situation but also jumped in without any knowledge about Jack and just talked your thoughts mindlessly. Yes it's a stream but you can understand that for many it quite tasteless from your part I understand you have humor going on in your channel but in front of something like this its both disrespectful against the victims and especially when you were talking about Jack. Also, you should give empathy and sympathy to everyone regardless on how much they got hurt, because they did got hurt. That's why I personally think that doing streams on these very, very serious topics it's bad for those who had the short end of the stick. You can't know what you'll say, especially since this is a serious topic and joking in between things only undermines it in other people eyes, just because you need to keep your chat entertained or attentive. I personally suggest you make a video instead of a stream, because laughing and giggling every 20-30 minutes, making jockes and saying "I only have 3 hours left" "I squeezed this in" It's very unprofessional in general towards the topic itself. I do still think that your take on Synni is perfectly fine, she's deserves everything you said and I also believe you're correct that Jack should've not showed the animation even if he worked hard on it. I also give you props to tell people to leave the minor alone and to not dm them as that's very unsafe. I can only say: please if you wish to talk about these things on stream, do substantial research before doing the stream itself, so you don't just appear as someone who just wants to jump into it and be disrespectful to the eyes of outside people coming in, who are not part of your community. As they will not understand that you have no malicious intent while covering this. covering these topics should bring awareness before anything else. Man what a ride 💀 Tbh AMC people always give me a weird vibe. But this is creepy levels of weird. As much as I dislike Birdie and cringed at some of their video I hope they get out. Synni doesn’t deserve them to be around if all they care about at the end is losing their (only adult as far as I’m aware) friend

While I think this stream was very important in terms of letting people know the situation, I reallly dislike the fact there weren't really any rules on misgendering others, on PURPOSE There were some chatters who were intentionally misgendering Jack, and were calling those correcting the pronouns Birdie supporters. Whether someone is a bad person or not, it should not give the ability for people to pick and choose when to respect those pronouns. When you do that kind of stuff, you aren't simply hurting someone who is a bad person, you are normalizing using it as an insult. It'll eventually drive in crowd that'll use that as an excuse to misgender someone, simply because they're lgbtq. Not to forget to mention the clear minor in the chat, who was insulting, misgendering Jack before hearing him out, and victim blaming the child Synni talked to. All because "The child was doing dumb stuff, so they did it to themselves". Only people who say that are either creepy adults, and children who think they're more mature than their peers.

I'll be blunt. I implore you to properly research these topics before attempting to cover them. There's no need to talk over people like Jack who deserve to be listened to rather than criticized, victim shaming and transphobia isn't necessary and makes you look dishonest. This isn't a fun drama situation to react to for views, a child was groomed and many others were harmed by Synni. You obviously don't care about the actual victims, you said so yourself. If you lack empathy and maturity, covering serious topics like this isn't for you.
