I would have erased the word 'elderly' from that statement. Very few women over 50 need either abortion access or contraception. But that does not mean that the issue is not important to women over 50.....it is. We don't want to go back to the 1960s. Watch the old movie.....Valley of the Dolls.

Wikipedia said he stepped down from being Chancellor due to "chronic health conditions". He's 68 now. Mark Kelly is 60. McRaven voted for GW Bush and Obama and did not vote for Hillary even though he did not like Trump. I'm not sure he's a real Democrat.

He is conservative though isn't he? We need to do some radical things this next term. SCOTUS reform, military style weapons, climate change, making "Roe" the law of the land. Unions are very important to the infrastructure & manufacturing goals. I was thinking he might be ok but now...I don't know. We don't need another Manchin or Sinnema. However that's spelled.

So now they are not looking at giving us the choice of 2 like minded leaders so they can get more done. Yet again, they are watering down the ticket written those who won't support all the things we need to get done. "balancing" the ticket with a union hater, or one who won't support changing gun laws or taxation of the uber wealthy. Watering down important legislation to get their vote? Been there, done that. AZ Governor is Katie Hobbs who is a Democrat. If Kelly is picked and elected, Governor Hobbs will appoint a replacement who is a Democrat to replace Kelly.

That’s why I vote by mail. You get your ballot early and have time to check out who’s who and what their past is and what they are saying now. I agree tho. I don’t want to vote for a local anything until I find out what they are.

About half the people in my life are Republicans, mostly lifelong GOP that stubbornly continue voting for a dead elephant. My sister is MAGA, although she calls herself a Libertarian, with no clue how little the two have in common. The irony is, as always, that all the Trump supporters I know are on public assistance, while my Dem friends are all gainfully employed. Not that the Trumpers can't find work, they all have disabilities and one has a felony conviction so they "can't" work (they don't make any effort to overcome these obstacles, they'd rather sit home and let my taxes feed and house them). I dont know how they expect to survive in a Project 2025 Amerika.
