COGIC establishes the newly created TN Metropolitan Jurisdiction 

This past Monday, November 12, 2018, history was made in the Church Of God In Christ (COGIC), Christendom, and the Greater Mid-South. COGIC General Assembly created a new diocese/jurisdiction, namely, Tennessee Metropolitan Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction, which will be headquartered in Memphis. Additionally, the Presiding Bishop and General Board appointed one of the sons of the Church, a native Memphian, and dedicated Pastor, Linwood Elijah Dillard, Jr. as the Jurisdictional Bishop. We are excited about what God has done and what God is about to do especially through our new leader.
