Finally a church where everyone is dressed decently and looking good, even the musicians. Wow, I'm impressed. Ladies in dresses, I don't see tight skinny jeans. Men nor women. No cut off jeans, muscle shirts, torn jeans, leggings, tennis shoes 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I would hope they were mindful and not wear that type attire described, in this type of service. In fact, I’ve never seen the a fore mentioned attire in any of our services. Just because we are from MS doesn’t mean we don’t know how to dress appropriately as COGIC choir members. We represent!! Stated In love.❤
I have to ask why this is important. Does God require suits and heels to praise him? When you are at home, do you get dressed up to pray? This sounds like it’s rooted in judgement because it differs from your comfort zone….
@@shortyzangelzI totally understand what your saying but God does require our best nothing is wrong with dressing up but alot of churches period come up there in anything these days yes God is looking at the heart but even with that nothing is wrong with order and uniform, we do it for the courthouse or job interviews why not look our best for the Lord ya no
Holy Dance will you please Give a description/example of how they should sing about the benefits of the crucifixion for all of humanity- past, present and future!
I AM almost, 😂 sure this was at Men Perfecting Men conference last week in Jackson, Mississippi. And again, I am almost sure, 😂 it is ALL FOR THE GLORY OF GOD. Try your best to be there in person next year if at all possible. They're singing" HELP ME LIFT HIS NAME" HELP ME SING HIS PRAISE" Think you could do so, I am almost sure, 😂 you can !!¡
As a member of COGIC it's very embarrassing that we don't have a clue about John 12:32-33this verse is about THE CRUCIFIXION....not praising the Lord... Makes us look IGNORANT!!!
Holy Dance can you give an example and a description of how they should sing about the benefits of the crucifixion for all of humanity past, present and future?!
What I'm saying is the song is saying how do we reach the masses?then they answer if I be lifted up I'll draw all men unto me which is from John 12 :32-33 context is the manner of JESUS death the song changed the context to if We,We,We lift him up the masses will come...context is everything
I still don’t understand your point? The words are true; he desires the highest praise. Hallelujah!! I consider it a medley; we lift him up to draw the world to him. He also deserves the highest praise. I’m not ignorant in knowing that!!! All the words the choir sang are true to me. Hallelujah!!
