My brother although I was never a member of West Angeles when I moved to LA in 2003, I always had the upmost respect for you. In 2004, my life got off track and I almost lost my way until a friend brought me to visit West Angeles. After hearing you preach and seeing the Holy Spirit flowing throughout the sanctuary, for the first time in my life I was not ashamed to clap my hands or praise God openly. I even got a chance to attend the Azusa Street Centennial. Man what an experience. When I left LA in 2006 to return back to Florida, I brought a lot of what I learned at West Angeles back to the Baptist church. If no one else appreciates you please know that because of your preaching this prodigal son was able to return home and find favor in Gods eyes. I went back to school and finished my Bachelor's Degree and I now I'm working on my master's degree. I will always remember you. So wonderful to hear the development of homes on the land near Mason Temple belongs to the COGIC. It was being told that COGIC was selling all the land owned here in Memphis, TN. The hotel that was donated to COGIC is gone. I would love to see the University of Saint Center come to fruition. This was to be the college I attended once graduating from high school in the late 80s/early 90s. It would be an historic event, a denomination like COGIC founding it's own university.
