Look into the contract Facebook and cognizant have together. It's horrific what the employees have to go through, watching content of animal torture, child rape, violence, bestiality, etc...

thanks for bringing this up. lot of times people think they work for a facebook or google project , but they end up doing cleansing. Same thing is true for so many FAANG guys, They end up doing routine task.

I joined Cognizant recently as a fresher. I'm very much upset by their policies and I see no future here. Almost every other fresher I know in Cognizant want to leave Cognizant as soon as they get experience.

For Freshers no need to worry but those with 10-12+ experience need to think long term prospects.

freshers also have to worry because we can put into any domain which may not be ur interest. Thereby wasting a lot of time. almost 9hrs a day which could be used to gain some good experience in which ever domain u like AI,ML,DataScience,etc.

Many of my friends faced this issue with CTS. Everyone feels insecure there. In every level this happens. They always search for other jobs instead of focusing in their work. It impacts in productivity also.

Thanks for the detailed analysis 😊👏 My total experience is 8.2 years. I have 2 offers: one from CTS for role Manager-Projects with total CTC 27 (fixed 25.5) and another one from TCS with role Assistant Consultant with total CTC 24 (fixed 19.5). My skillset is SAPUI5, SAP FIORI, SAP BTP. What would be the appropriate one to choose among these two?

at your experience, i would like to avoid going for managerial role. Managerial roles are considered easily replaceable. Specially in CTS, if you saw my video I posted yesterday on my new channel "InvestU", It appears attrition is really gone out of control at CTS. What that indicates is, there is negative chit chatter among employees in the company. That affects your mental health.

It's a good package, no tension at all. All worries will be gone. So you should take higher CTC by Cognizant. Let me know if there are good openings for Pharmaceutical professionals as well. 😊

Would recommend freshers to not go for Cognizant. Worst company. They have been delaying the onboarding for months, dragged the pre-joining internship for months with 25774 useless tests and interviews (this is after you get an offer letter). HR, Coach, no one cares about you, neither will they reply to your concerns and queries. This company gave me nothing but anxiety and depression. Also, this is my condition before even joining the job. Even if you get another company of low package, please, please, go for it over Cognizant. Don't start your career in this company. They don't treat you like employees, or even humans.

I had bad experience with wipro and CTS both during interviews. I blocked them in all job search platforms. Their HRs are rude, unprofessional and having no interest in Technology or Business. Even their interviewers seemed to be searching jobs outside.

Hello sir, I have a doubt that I got 2 offers one is a 2015 startup (Celebal tech. With 1k employees) giving 5 Ipa and job role is SQL and Power BI developer and another offer is cognizant genc elevate with 4.25lpa (with unknown role - chances of new tech.)can you please help me to figure it out which would be more valuable and suitable as per upcoming years for me. Starting with startup will give you exposure beyond your profile. If the startup grows, you will gain immensely. Sql and power BI to start with is okay... you will see your career in business intelligence domain. It is close to data analytics and data engineering. So you have space to navigate.

Hi sir, I got an offer from Cognizant with hike of nearly 150% as Sr. Associate. I have 5.4 years of experience. I have another offer with same Ctc from company named Solugenix which is a mid sized company. Solugenix says they will give onsite opportunity in less than a year. IT is now a place for only quality with experience away from quantity without knowledge and skills, in last 20 years a lot of poor quality mass hiring took place and the same situation will happen in all IT companies

All Indian IT is growing double digit and even non Indian IT companies(Accenture, Capagemini,...) have largest ofshore centre in India. apparently When you operate at such large scale, Some projects would face quality issues . On the contrary, All IT companies are hiring big time at the moment.

Company without bond is better company. So CTS for freshers is nice name. Begin with it for 2 years max. later you will require lot of info on taking your career at next level. If you have subscribed, stay tuned for lot more insights.

Greetings Sir, I have 6+ years of work experience with Amazon into operations domain. Due to my passion towards data science, I've quit my job and pursued a full time PG Diploma in Data Science. While initially I faced lot of rejections, due to lack of experience in technical domain, I recently cracked interview for a Data Scientist position with Cognizant. Didn't really enjoy the onboarding process. Also, looking at your video, I am quite skeptical about my future here. Looking forward to just gain some work experience in the field of Data Science. Cognizant payscale is similar to other IT companies... even if they pay higher, people will join and leave quickly if internal environment is stressful

For full stack java developer , i think both are fine. But for work life balance, Societe Generale will score higher as its European and french background means lot of employee friendly policies and easy work conditions. Now soon you will clear an important milestone in your career i.e. 10 years. So maybe good to look at "Job Safety vs Growth" discussion available on the channel.

Also whatever happened, may be it's over for the time being.. new joiners will get benefitted as company is finding difficult to retain employees...they might change these policies.... so go ahead without worry. 3-4 years is good time for CTS.. there shouldn't be any confusion

As a fresher i noticed people are chasing information like salary, increments, growth, health benifits, holidays of a company, hiring companies etc.... on the contrary i talk of strategic thinking like developing skills, personality, thinking which is a long term goal for every fresher to stay ahead. unfortunately freshers want short term gains... thats why you will see this channel has smaller audience...

That's why we should know all the things about a company before joining. Obviously long term thinking is the first priority but also we should have some time to upgrade ourselves that's why office leaves are needed.

both have this high attrition problem. but cognizant is touching all time high now....that handled this issue very badly. you can choose either ....both are almost similar in all aspects....in this case, i would stress upon skills. if you are upskilling regularly, things will be fine.

They mostly fired Director and above band . 90 percent were those folks which is #GOOD decision who got promoted just because they were from IIM or Tamilian. Wipro Infosys fires middle band People who are below director band in mass

IBM is not a growing. and has seen lot of pressure. despite challenging times I feel CTS is better. Please be mindful, IBM is a big company and only IT services business we are talking about.

its not apple to apple comparision. Ericsson is not IT services company but a telecom or network company. the difference would be, in IT companies you work on projects but in Ericsson you will be working in teams which work on tools may be OSS/BSS. so you won't have to change projects , or nothing like bench.

I am not sure if this change would mean anything in next 5 years for you. I wouldn't recommend that. Rather I would stress on making full use of 2 years. Money will follow you. Check my channel, I have listed " Biggest Mistakes". Avoid them and you will make a killing soon Mounika.

Sir i got wipro and CTS... So which company I will join... Sir plz help. In wipro there is 1 year bond bt in CTS there is no bond. Can you say is it safe for a 21 passout fresher to join cts atleast for first 2-3 years. CTS 4(No Bond + Aftr Prob 4.5) & Wipro 3.5(Bond 75k 1yr)

Dear Nilimesh, Yes definitely CTS is good company... there are some issues but despite that it is still very big company. CTS is atleast 2 times the WIPRO size... So relax and join CTS for sure... More than company it's your skill which needs higher attention. DBA roles are changing with cloud and managed dB concepts. I would be inclined towards infy I'd there is not big difference

on CitiusTech I am not fully informed, So it is not appropriate for me to advise on that. PWC has higher brand value for future... Without joining company one can't talk about work in the company.. every company has every type of work....So even not so good companies also have quite good work... So I would rather focus on skills... If you get to work on Digital skills. Wherever you get that, Join it.

Hi Sir My education background- BE + MBA Total exp - 8 yrs Currently working in TCS from last 6 yrs as SAP functional consultant. Now I have multiple offers to switch and slightly confused and need your suggestion. 1. Deloitte- offering same role with senior consultant designation 2. Cognizant Consulting- offering Business consulting role ( it is not IT) with Sr. Consultant designation Based on the role, I feel Cognizant business consulting will help me change my career path and would allow me to make use of my MBA skills in a better way..where as in Deloitte I am will have to continue working in technology consulting. I also heard a lot about issues related to work life balance at Deloitte. Can you please provide your advice for this situation.. both the companies are offering about 100%hike compared to my current CTC at TCS. Role wise Cognizant looks for me but just worried a little after watching this video.. Deloitte has very good brand value, but I am worried about work life balance and also I will have to stay in technology consulting..

Yes cognizant is going through a turmoil. At current rate everybody will resign from company. So about 31% employees left cts last quarter. Check my latest video I covered on 29th July. Can you please share, as a business consultant what responsibilities you are expecting at CTS? These titles can be misleading. Did they brief you about role and responsibilities?

@@BingeLearn Thanks for your response. The role is related to business consulting for supply chain and manufacturing domain. It is not related to any technology and more dependent business functions. Came to know that there is a seperate wing within Cognizant known as cognizant business consulting for these kind of roles and they hire only MBAs. Even the designations in this vertical are different from the actual IT vertical. Senior consultant in business consulting group is equivalent to manager in IT wing of CTS

@@paruchuriprasanna389 The way these IT org. are structured, it is very difficult to be sure of that. Business consulting and technology consulting is most abused term in IT services companies. Their is no clear demarcation. just saying business consluting, you shouldn't assume its different. for example, Presales, sales, marketting roles are generally falling in business consulting... and Business consultant act as bridge between technology and prasales teams. i understand you wouldn't have that clarity right now, So here is my view: its a calculated risk, the worst you may get is technology consulting in the name of business consulting again. as attrition is already high, their first priority is to stabilize company... And maybe that's why their global HR head has resigned couple of days ago.

I have got merit based revision where in there is no change in basic salary 😂😂😂😂😂 although my vertical is non IT but still completed 3 years still no change in salary. This company don't value the time an employee gives to the organization. In the name of increment no increment in hand salary still the same. #Majboori ka naam job market. Cognizant CEO salary is skyrocketed compare it with TCS CEO you will see the difference.

Hi Abhishek, this negativity in cognizant is past event. They are still facing the consequences and current demand cycle is so high that whoever didn't find takers, all are getting opportunities now. So that reflects in this huge outgoing rush in the company. as a beginner nothing you need to worry, anyway you are going for higher studies, so whatever you do in next 1-2 years is not going to impact that.

Thats very difficult question because your whole career depends on which company you choose today... Also it doesn't look good to leave company because you heard something bad about it somewhere.... Every tom dick harry(including me) has opinion about any company. Unless you relate and feel these things in the company, It would be premature to take such decision based someone else's opinion. If you would have reached me before joinig CTS, i would have advised EY. Join us , there are lot of topics on the way... These will help you navigate IT journey in future

Congratulations Pavan...you seem to have hit to jackpot.. :) I have no idea of your skills. So i provide you my general readings. Alert: Long answer (Means I take all of you seriously) Softcrylic in its 20 years existence couldn't scale beyond 200-300 people. Ideally it shoulud have been much bigger name now... so i have no views on that....Just in principal thought. Capagemini is french name and are generally considered very easy people ..But you will have Indianized version of it. So think of it like any other company. but you have no idea which industry, customers you will be working on.... CAPCO is in financial services and also in energy...SO you know most likely you will get one of them.... BFSI is very hot area... major revenue for IT come from BFSI...so in terms of longer career , it looks good Engery is under pressure right now, as traditional energy sources are less likely to be in use few years later with clean engery coming up... However still clean energy also need people...This space is evolving, can't comment ..Little uncertainity On acqusition front: We don't know how this integration will shape up... we might have Wipro management handling CAPCO or we have CAPCO working independently... No matter who controls CAPCO, you will be working in BFSI or Energy.... or you can change them... Only problem is, Wipro increments are poor.... and if CAPCO manged by wipro completely , you will have poor increments too..... you will have to decide what you think is the right mix for you.... things are not black and white...you can not choose either black or white....its a tradoff

Cognizant for sure Prerna. no point losing money. anyway you are safe for two reason. 1. Java 2. you are still early in your career. I have covered one video for Job hoppers. Hello Sir, I'm a Mechanical graduate, due to covid conditions and no other opt I had to choose CTS as my first company and now I'm in as a production support engineer in customer interaction management for Siemens healthcare. I'm kind of getting the feeling that there is no growth in this sector could you give me some tips on this. I'm interested in doing analyst jobs so wat shld I do for tht as well. Thanks in advance

Hello Anand, I am glad that you've identified this problem early in your career. its a big problem as you will be stuck .many people take years to know that. Analyst is little misleading. it depends on company . Some analyst code, some do business analysis..its quite vast. Have you thought what you want to do ?

@@amikkal the best way to go about it is do some certification like data analyst. That will be your own effort. Look for opportunities inside the company at the same time. This has to be done quickly else you will be sterio typed . Certification can help you break away from this danger

I can tell you a general definition of practice. Practice is primarily looking at a domain like finance, manufacturing or energy. They play key role for the growth of company in that area. Practice size can vary from 50 people to 1000 people or more depending on company size. A fast paced area. To say it simply, it's very good place to be in

Hi, I just got selected in cts as sr infra developer (designation) for Servicenow in Kolkata, I was just wondering whether it would be a purely development based role as far as scope of work? And upon discussion with Hr he said there won't be night shifts but day shifts might be there which has gotten me worried regarding authenticity of it being a dev role.., Can u please suggest?

Ideally infra developer is support role. They should rather have called it service now developer. But designations could be misleading at times. Roles and responsibilities can clear that doubt. But it appears it's less development

@@ucantfindme7021 do you have any idea when TCS might give joining, if it is 1-2 months, you can wait for TCS. else capagemini is fine. However please remember, the real test begins after training completion. most freshers make mistake there. I will talk about that someday . So if you are a subscriber, watchout for that discussoin and also many discussions are available for your consumption already

How many companies have you cleared Gopi :) HCL has lot of support projects and also some legacy technology ..along with local indian projects... CGI is global name, so project quality is bit better, and the environment is bit better.

@@BingeLearn sure, the first thing is that they're so unprofessional specifically the it team i got all the way to Gurgaon to collect my systems no reimbursements available for that expense, got 3 monitors for my work but 2 of them not even working as they forgot the software installation, i raised the ticket reached to my managers but no response not even a single helping hand from tech support they're asking me to get all the bulky desktop and take it along with me to the office incase i wanna continue the job, they were still complaining about my output the frustration took over and i finally resigned.. As an employ it's not my job to assemble the computers or arranging wires and softwares, pathetic company

There is nothing fixed. It will depend on your exp, skills, negotiation. Best person to answer that is HR or recruitment partner

Sir, I've got offer letters from CTS with 6.75L package (GenC next), Accenture with 4.5L package, wipro with 3.5L package and DXC Technology with 4L package. Can you please guide me about which company would be better for me to join as a FRESHER. Thank you.

Hi Sai, Congratulations . you have some really nice choices. If I were you, despite covering Cognizant in this video , i would choose GenC Next. its a premium over normal hiring. and i am pretty sure you are great. However one piece of advice, Companies are not concerned of you as there are lakhs of people already there. So you have to take control of your own aspirations . I think based on the quality of projects, it is better to go with Cognizant.but please be careful. No company is good enough unless you take control of your own career. I covered some aspects in "Biggest Mistakes". Probably helpful in your career
