You can clearly see how the T34/76 design influenced its CoH3 successor, the crusader In my many years playing CoH2 I've never found the T34/76 as nothing more than an overpriced T70 with a stronger bite against light vehicles. It's almost obsolete as it hits the field. Its awful main gun can't penetrate other mediums and its armor can't deflect any shots either. It doesn¡t benefit from any upgrade or doctrine. It's only saving grace is its cost and its machineguns. The Crusader also comes out as an obsolete vehicle. Terrible armor, outdated gun and no hull machinegun put it below other mediums. However it can upgrade its gun, you can buy veterancy for it and it benefits from some doctrinal choices (for example, faster vet rate). You can buy it as a stop gap and then use withdrawal and refit to recoup its resources and buy a better vehicle, like the Grant or the Matilda.
One most important feature of T-34/76 you missed is the kamikaze ram, guaranteeing 10 secs 75% slow down and the possibility of engine crit from even impacting on the front, combo with the follow up of ZIS-3, su-85 or AT overwatch would make a serious threat to axis heavy armours. Risky move nonetheless but if it success then it is always a positive trade.
@CochoSGO I disagree on your view of the T34/76. The T34/76 is an excellent cost-effective medium despite its inconsistent performance against its Axis counterpart, P4. It does really good damage on both of its MGs despite lacking any Pintle MG upgrade. It's inconsistent performance against medium tanks kind of doesn't matter if it comes out at an already cheap price of 300 MP and 90 Fuel. Even then, it still enough to pose a threat against to a P4 and possibly even a Panther. The Ram ability is something I rarely use cause there's not much to use other than to guarantee a very good trade or to have a higher chance of killing a heavy tank when paired with a specific commander ability (e.g. Artillery Overwatch).
@@senko0802 The T-34 has similar timing to the P4 but is cheaper, so you'll usually get a second T-34 before a second OST tank, but they will appear on the field at about the same time
@@buivietdungtran3065 Please explain to me? Its a same thing only different thing is in coh3 you so get same stats as joined squad. Which changes not much. Who spamms merge on stoss or pgs which is only relevant squads to merge.
@@funbun420 gren have AoE healing at vet 1 on top of that. 22mp per model also big factor. That mean you never win MP bleed or field present against WM since they can reinforce + heal at same time. Now combine it with Ambu halftrack + Luwaffle discount MP perk ..... Good luck to bleed 18mp per model.
