Ah yes, classic 200 IQ plays in Port of Hamburg, lose all your infantry and build every artillery piece you can. If you're not dropping 1000 tons of TNT every minute you're doing it wrong

depends on the map. imo most maps are too small for 4v4, such as this one.

All I can say is that folks who enjoy playing on Hamburg are the one's who'd love a slug fest war like Verdun during WW1. Little room for manoeuvres and flanking, just sheer head to head brute strength

There is a large portion of the fan base that love this style of gameplay. Maybe they graduated from bridge maps vs ai.

@@tightropegaming I can't compete in a 1v1 or 2v2 because I'm a bad player. So I prefer emplacement style gameplay. To each their own I say, I know that my playstyle is inferior and I will gladly joke about it.

Competitively I can see how this would be ludicrous. But sometimes you just like to see how much steel reign actual you can bring to the table and watch your frame rate tank as everything goes boom! Lol!

I play a bit of both styles. If I want a real challenge I play 2v2, just a good mix of 1v1 style play and not getting the slugfest you get in 4v4. For mindless fun I play vs. AI.

I think, in their defense, they're too occupied with tanks and structure repairs and also their engineer needed reinforcing every minute from the nonstop axis arty lmao

@@K_T_S The Bloodbath 4v4 tournament was pretty dumb as well. DevM going 3 walking stukas back to back as his first vehicles and another guy plastering the map with ammo caches. In the end they had +80 ammo on Steppes and just kept shelling the opposing team on their way to the VPs.

17:40 are you serious? This is basically a clone of IL2 rocket strafe and it synergizes very well with pak40 stun shot and Elefant stun shot.

Timed to the centre of crossroads the rockets arrive 2 seconds earlier than the stuka cas strafe does. Timing matters a lot

None of which is as strong as T34 Ram that can cause engine damage after the stun on full health tanks.

4v4 allies are so underpowered its not even funny axis can lock down points with just a couple MG and allies cant do shit against them while if allies does the same they will be instantly wiped by walking stuka no, katyushas and calliopes cant wipe mgs.
