CoH2: Elite 1v1 Hans (USA) vs Noggano (OKW) 

TBH his biggest mistake was that he never tried cut Noggano's fuel supplies until late game

@@generalfred9426 yeah bec he defended heavily and props to him rea)y for repelling attacks like 5x? But ofcourse props to noggano also for trying and trying until he cracked it. Hans should have pushed all the way when he destroyed the 2 P4s

He still felt bad about Noggano's panther

he probably uses middle mouse button to pan camera, or a faux key that activates MMB when held via a script like autohotkey. When he isn't using the minimap at least.

@@TheSweetSpirit yeah, im using 'Auto Hotkey' (i guess thats the name) binding for WASD keys camera panning. Greatly improved my game.

You saw proganno's heavy infantry plays Not to mention he lost his stuart too early in the game to risk losing a major anti inf armor for early midgame

Same here. Relatively new player and the Germans just seems incredibly OP. This just might be the n00bage talking so I'd love to hear someone a bit more experienced weighing in.

I don’t really want this being a whinge thread. But last night I was in a 3v3 I played brits and the axis (all ost) went the commander with ostruppen and we wiped so many squads and so they spammed out park 40’s and mg bunkers. We’re noobs and don’t really know how to counter it but it seemed pretty impossible. Couldn’t get close with infantry even with smoke because of bunkers and my comets and avre were basically getting one shot by paks. So my ally built arty to take out their paks and bunkers but they were building them faster then we could destroy them. Then they just dove panthers at our artillery and gg.

@@sophiesthirdchoice4903 I believe that's more of a question about power spikes, build orders and counters. It seems the factions have to understand that concept somewhat, depending on the openings, something that only comes either by reading each faction and commanding branch or experience by playing it. You also must be a decent micro and macro player to reverse from an opponent snowball, that's why this video is awesome, a rollercoaster on all of that, even though Hans had map control at some point in which he decided to focus on vps and not fuel points, leading for a good play from Nagano with double p4, especially with that early one. You could argue that he would have been dead at that point had not been for the early p4, in which demonstrates all those aspects of decision making (macro) and tactical implementation with combined arms (micro).

@@XIGuyIX Been there done that. Don't sacrifice your tanks against those paks. Hold the line and build arty to wipe out the bunkers. Keep your infantry alive but in front of your tanks to make sure those paks don't sneak up on you and snipe your tanks. Get vision, flares or recon. Switch your inf to anti-tank if they have no infantry left and build lots of mines. I see a lot of allies throwing away an advantage by always attacking because they get an early advantage and think they can roll axis. Axis have very good anti-armor so you need to be careful when they go defensive and switch to paks and mgs. They're just buying time to get tanks at this stage. You won't stop them getting tanks, so switch to arty tactics. Your tanks and inf are there to protect the arty, so no silly offense. in this stage of the battle vision is your best friend and also theirs, so if you see enemy recon planes, get anti-air asap. Do not let axis recon you late game.

@@dxstrelok they are, how are they gonna invite the participants then? They just do it classic axis vs allies so its similar to how the game was intended to be played by the developers.

My admittedly limited knowledge is that you start with Lt cause the Stuart wins the light tank/vehicle game pretty hard and MGs are valuable for map control and pushing up. If you win early/mid game control then you go straight for major cause you’ll be able to get tanks out as early or earlier then axis can. But if you are losing on map control early/mid game (especially in regards to who’s had fuel ownership), then you go Captain cause you’ll never be able to get medium tanks out early enough to deal with theirs. So you go captain to get at guns as a way of trying to defend yourself and try to creep back into a winning position/buy yourself time to recap fuel and get tanks out.

try deactivating Vertical Sync in the options menu

Maybe I’m wrong but Hans seemed to be low on munitions most of the match. Maybe he was making a call that buying his troops gun upgrades would be more valuable in the long run then spending the munitions?

yeah but then allied factions except british have early game advantage which can steam role axis
