Love to see German officer squads used a bit more! Too bad they are really mediocre outside their abilities, even when vetted up. Though they become pretty neat once they get their hands on any kind of LMG.

Would you consider making a video discussing elite vs regular infantry late game? In a game like this if a squad gets wiped would you buy another volks to replace it or an ober?

short answer is snares. the panzerfaust is why he went for volks over obers. If you looking for a video on fallschirmjäger vs obersoldaten, I believe that already exists

@@Schaden-freude I suppose, although I always feel like watching a lot of these games players fall apart late game because they don't have infantry to maintain field presence, and especially when I see Tightrope play British he tends to slowly phase out sections to only have engineers and they end up just not being able to hold the line without tank support, more than a few games I've seen lost because Rear Echelons and Royal Engineers cannot stand up to panzer grens, obers, or Sturms. I mean that can work on maps like Alliance of Defiance when you have a few cromwells, comets, etc. providing support and you just want to minimize MP bleed when you suicide cap, but you can't win with only one point of course

@@ashfox7498 well the main issue is obers only really pick up at vet 2 and if you need them as last minute guys to cap shit and also kinda kill other inf they can be outclassed by vet 3 double bren squads quite easily for example. its cheaper to have a volks run back home and get reinforced than obers. and the other thing is obers become a priority for the other player as well. its kind of counterintuitive, but like most things in coh2 its mostly based on timings

On the second game vs Sovereign - he was actually being bled quite hard (I chat/play with him) - no wipes != spending shedloads on manpower. Also not being able to do anything since double indirect means you cannot stay still and cons have 0 dps as it is, guards just get LeIG'd and naturally it also translates into no ZiS because why would you get one when you know there's double indirect - it simply cannot sit still because otherwise it will get hammered. "He doesn't even have to try" (1:04:30) is what would be running through my mind if someone is running double indirect and able to do *that* twice over and twice as often. Essentially, no team weapons allowed. I'm not really sure how a "better player" is meant to do here apart from potentially get a Katyusha but Sov didn't feel he had the MP for that and also with no ZiS it can't be kept safe from dives, T34-85 vs P4J is still in the P4J's favour because for *some reason* it gets 234 front despite everyone else having 160 or 180 on regular P4. For context, a Panther has 260 armour as does the KV8 - it is nearly as armour frontally as those thick-skinned beasts, its nothing to scoff at. One T34-85 isn't going to cut it against to babysit a Katyusha since reliance on RNGesus isn't going to carry you Edit: "No team weapons allowed" added.

P4J has -50% acc on the move and the standard p4 gun and acc, the t34-85 can shoot from static if the p4 is diving and button threat from guards puts that firmly in the t34's favor if there's a dive attempt. katyusha would have been the right call.

@@CtrlAltRetreat There is precisely one guards squad (3 cons 1 Guard), I would not rely on that to consistently mark the P4J and *every* tank suffer -50% when moving, which includes rotation iirc (Turning tank around to face frontally), and wanting to flank to get best chance at penetration. Also, the mere fact that the T-34-85 is babysitting the Katyusha means it is not on the front, or if it is on the front Katy is vulnerable. If it runs back it will likely have taken an ATG hit, maybe two if unlucky - the P4J can atleast be expected to consistently enter engagements here at full health. The 85 doesn't have this luxury. It's ultimately a lose/lose situation - I agree that yeah a Katy is the best way out of this double indirect mess but with either leaving it vulnerable or tying down your only armour and losing battlefield presence are two bad choices. Edit: With Blitz, it can somewhat decrease its fire on the move penalty as it gains +20% accuracy, meaning that it should work out to be only -30%. It also does get -25% received accuracy, so harder to hit regardless.

I find tightrope never put down the minesweeper, and this happen in many video of his, even stationery and in combet he still forgot to put it down, look at 25:10, he even saw the infantry section coming at his way and have plenty of time to react, kinda feel sad for sturm

Does anyone else find the accuracy and overall impact of isgg way too much? Specially in team games, this thing just shreds from distance. Also helps that allies dont have arty that one shot kills them like stuka

I think lose the ability do perform flanks after mis game with infantry and tanks and it becomes a duel of ranges, the tank with longest range wins, this happens due to he amount of long range tank destroyers and easy to hear tanks in the fog of war, so you know where tans are placed, if you do a dive with infantry and tanks you get snare easy since this game has a lot of snare options for basic infantry, Russians exceeding at that. Not fun IMO, very difficult to flank with current meta/balance... Half of this game was middle moving tanks back and forth making a stale and boring game play, hopefully coh3 is not like this a we have more mid game with half-tracks and light vehicles then late with less tank destroyer and more tank support for infantry, more flanking skills like radio silence

Britain Its soo noob friendly . You can easily lock down chuck of the maps without much effort. It s frustrating to play against especially with Ost. I worder why he didnt built a bofors to secure at least one vp. But spamming trenches seems working too.

Correction: it’s frustrating to fight Brit’s with okw or ost no matter what. The entire faction completely breaks the rules of the game and were clearly not well balanced and thought out when they were released. Plenty of examples but I think they’re mostly common sense and I don’t feel like writing anything longer

at guns and mortars end emplacement in endgame if you spam emplacements you've just spent 1000mp to make a stuka/werfer vet3 simple strat: mortar to get brace, then use troops and at guns at guns outrange most emplacements except for British at gun but British at gun emplacement can't fight infantry

@@yy8erig915panzer werfers are the most useless artillery unit in the game. They won’t hit anything unless you drive right next to the enemy which puts it at risk of dying. Plus brace is busted and allows you to repair it right after because it took no damage
