I always make sure to blame my team mates before calling them noobs and telling them to uninstall, finally destroying their bases when they don't improve their performance.
A lot of these tips are usable in other online games people play as well. Communication and understanding who is the better player are two of the biggest you can apply in other games. When a teammate asks you to do something in a kind manor you should consider his/her advice and hopefully apply it. Being an idiotic player who only plays how he/she wants to play is just setting yourself up to lose. Everyone wants to win, some more than others but I don't believe many people get enjoyment from seeing a loss. As always Hans, fantastic video and looking forward to future videos.
I think I got one more point to add. A general thing I see so often from "not so high class" players. Dont always save for the biggest tanks! Medium tanks can help u controll the momentum of the game and are more mobile. And if u have a big tank dont think u can just a-move in ur opponents base. It needs babysitting. Dont throw it away.
Well you might always have a good reason to ping Hans. But its not that black and white when you play at a mediocre level as i do. Often you have teammates who ping spam in an attempt to micro manage you, because they think they have figured out exactly how to play the game. But since they're playing at my level they can't possible have figured it all out!
Hopefully CoH3 has improved ping systems. Even 4 different kinds of pings like "go here", "stay here", "need help here", "danger here" can cover a lot of the situations normally found in the game.
Also everytime I play soviets and use lend lease tactics I tend to ask my teammates if they are low on fuel and I drop the supply drop on their base Only if I have enough munitions
Jaeger2011 I personally move the camera with the mouse since my left hand is always occupied with the Keyboard (Hotkeys) and I need my right hand on the mouse to correctly position squads, face MGs and target abilities anyways. This is also beneficial as it allows clicking on the minimap to rapidly respond to a ping or a new engagement. Thus both my hands are occupied and using the arrow keys becomes impossible for me. (Might vary for you if you are left-handed)
ive been recently getting toxic and “know it all” teammates but ill use these tips to get a better experience hopefully but theres always good teammates sometimes
also does anyone have any tips for Soviet industry tactics, I wish they wouldn't have removed the reduced tank building times but the fuel drop is useful
hi Hans..thanx for all your great tips! what is best to.do in 2vs2: both take on one VP or should we team up our troops together and double team the opponent and then move from VP to VP together? Cheers!
Hans. ive been playing with a teammate that doesnt need my help but he helps me, n everytime i wanted to help, hes like "WTF R U DOING? I DONT NEED URE HELP, GET BACK TO UR SIDE"
I use to misunderstand about the pinging, as I saw it as something annoying. But then it could mean that the teammate wants to tell me something important.
When i am not being attacked or building anything that requires a lot of attention i tend to just heal my teammates and there bases, because its boring just sitting there.
Lots of good info in here but I feel like you should do more editing to make it shorter. Say you could have removed 5 mins by editing x 3000 views that is 250 hours you saved your viewers for something that would take you maybe an hour or 2 to do.
If my teammates weren't assholes when they asked something, maybe I'd be happier to help them. Though I always do help them just to spite and 1 up them
Every god damn player should have seen this. As a 2v2 - 4v4 player, I've had enough of people running off doing their own thing, not communicating, not being able to recieve constructive critisism etc....
I should try a online match :D, if my last game vs ai was really a online match i would be asking teammates to scout for enemys location so i can rocket truck them :D
So when the pings are flying from the first3 seconds to BOTH fuel points that are many points away... we should all just rush that shit and ignore everything between.? Fuck that. type something when you ping... period! And garden you who ever that is. Don't be that guy.
Reminds me of when all my teammates left. Was my first ever online game a few weeks ago. All 3 teammates left becuase they lost the previous game leaving me with 3 ai. Please don't do that
