They are being shot at mind you. I remember the commander of the obersoldaten squad from OKW yelling in my ears about MGS cutting into his men to this day.

Brits have by far the best voice performance in the game (minus the commandos because those guys sound too dopey). The brit medium tank voice screaming when in combat gives me life
