Man, you must be psychic. I was listening to this in the car just the other day thinking “why hasn’t Rick done Blood Red Summer?” And next time I hop on r/thefence I find this... well done. Keep up the good work man, even though I already knew how to play this one I really enjoyed the video and did learn a few things about Travis’ lead that I never picked up on. Great point about the Cars, I never made that connection explicitly but Always felt there was something familiar about this song, you nailed it! Thanks and entertaining as always!

Thanks bro! My favorite part about doing these is breaking these songs down from a theory prospective, and tracing possible influences. So many little nuggets of great classic songs in their music I always stumble on. And this might be a top 5 Travis lick at the end

True story. I had only heard coheed through a friend and never actually heard them. I bought the CD think great things and i immediately hated coheed. But I gave it a try and blood red summers "what did I do to deserve" changedy mind and i immediately fell in love with coheed. Thanks for reading my story. And thanks for the video. Rock on!!
