Springfield's Bar review: ( ⭐ ⭐) Went in for a drink tonight. Bartender/proprietor seemed more interested in watching a hot young blonde than serving drinks. Spilled my shot everywhere. Inattentive and distracted all night. I had to get an Uber home. Wasn't drunk - just lost my keys, wallet, lighter, and phone. Had to use watch to pay for Uber. Shady establishment.

You'll find most of us fans think Chris is a better drummer technically but Josh has a lot more heart and soul in his playing. Chris can sound like a drum machine sometimes which works great for studio but Josh is absolutely better for the band live.

He has held up both musically and health/looks. This video has had some amount of smoothing or some effect added to it. Although he looks great, especially when thinking my Dad is just a few years older but looks like everyone's Grandpa, in current interviews or his songwriting series on his channel, he doesn't look as "smooth".

I have loved ... I mean loved coheed since second stage and always thought they were underrated. This song is great and will probably expand their fan base but it’s sad it took this long. I have seen Coheed and Cambria and Rick Springfield in concert. My mom took me to Rick Springfield and when I was a teenager I saw Coheed and Cambria at a concert in Salt Lake City. Best duo ever. I sent this to my mom. How rad to have the band I love the most and her fav do a song together. Coheed is my all time fav been a fan since they were Shabutie. A couple of things. Okay, maybe a few. 1. My older sister was a huge fan of Rick Springfield in the 80's. She had the biggest crush on him. So, of course, she had played his records day in and out. 2.The 80's had some great stuff. We grew up, sans cable; but, we had Friday Night Videos; American Bandstand; and, Soul Train. 3. I totally dig Coheed and Cambria. 4. This collab is a lot of fun; but, why I am discovering this little gem.some two and half years later.oh, yeah. I remember. I live under a rock; and, shy away from what passes for modern music these days. 5. My sis is gonna get a big kick 🤪 out of this song. 6. Rick Springfield is looking good 👍

This is so cool they added lore and finished the story of what happened with Jessie's girl. Sometimes you can get what you wish for but it's not always how you expected it to be. like how Rick Springfield wished for jessie's girl now he wishes he "left that monster in the 80's" Coheed ROCKS!!!

FINALLY! Someone did a video fashioned after the A-ha video Take on Me visual style! I just can not get enough of the flip back & forth of cartoonish & normal!! Is reason Take on Me has been my favorite video since ‘84’ish! Add Rick Springfield & a VERY EXCELLENT revamp of the song ...PURE GOLD MAGIC!!!

As an old COTF, old enough to have watched Rick on the afternoon soaps while hearing his hits on the radio. I highly recommend any COTF fan who likes the poppier stuff to listen to Ricks Working Class Dog and Success Hasn’t Spoiled Me Yet albums. I think you’ll find some new ear candy, ENJOY ! Congrats to Coheed and Rick! Awesome song

THIS is what the world needs now! Just REAL GREAT music!!! This is so tastefully done! Coheed & Cambria & Rick Springfield??!! 10 out of 10! I love everything about this! The music, the lyrics, the video, the artwork on the single, straight out of the 80’s!! I can honestly say, in the last 20 years, I haven’t heard anything come out, that had classic potential...I can see this song being great 20-30 years from now....if we make it that long. 😉 Thank you for this!

The song is growing on me.. I like the 80s vibe and references. Rick Springfield himself, the tommy tu-tone reference from 867-5309.. (although they might of changed the last digit to 5 ?) and of course a nod to the Red Rocker Sammy Hagar by Rick serving his Beach Bar Rum ......among other things...🤘🎸🥁

They changed it to 5 because, 8+6+7=21 and 5+3+0+5=13, and that combines to 2113, the ending song off of Coheed's 2nd album, which references Rush.
