This bassist was amazing, he may not have been the most technical but his tone is ridiculous and he plays with a ton of heart, it's a damn shame what happened to him.
BraxtonThePorcupine I have to disagree. Mic and Zach are definitely good at different things. Mic definitely is a lot more aggressive and seems to "attack" the bass line more. I like Zach though because he's really rounded out the backup vocals for the band, and he helped give us Number City, a song with one of the best bass lines I've ever heard from Coheed.
unmessable12 Agreed, I saw Zach at the Tabernacle in GA for the IKSSE:3 tour in October and it was an epic show. Zach is very smooth while playing, and I agree he contributes vocally quite well also. Sure, Mic was awesome and full of energy, but Zach still fits the role well, just a different style.

Wow they sound good live. Guitars are tight and the drummer is laying it down! Some bands just can't play as well as they sound on a studio album, not the case here.
