A friend of mine told me about the effectiveness of twitching hoochie jigs last year just after the salmon season had ended. He had great success with them. I odered a bunch of different colors of Pline hoohie(squid) skirts and fitted them with 3/8 and 1/2 ounce jig heads. I am finally going to give them a try in a couple of days. I have also been researching Brad’s Wiggler plugs and how effective they are casting and retrieving for Coho. I have a few of those also and I switched out the two treble hooks for a single pinched barb siwash. I can’t wait to try out these new presentations.
