@@themeworld9260 being honest 4th is too late for u to start web dev from scratch, even if u have good foundation it totally depends on you if u can absorb content quick. If u can then totally go for it.

Being a part of harkirat's cohort 1 & 2. I can clearly say his cohort is strongly targetted to mid to senior level engineers. I wouldn't say its not for beginners but u have to be an active participant and do a lot of practices to keep up with his classes. There are helping hands incase u get stucked somewhere. Still its u, who needs to do everything. Harkirat will help u to guide u to the path, rest depends on u and ur practice. Im a senior dev and what i found helpful is the tools and platforms he uses. In case of self studies u'll learn about tech stack but u'll not have much idea about various tools and platforms used by high paying companies/startups. Recommended for all the engineers who really have the urge to push themselves beyond to learn new tools, concepts and level up their skills
I am currently in final year, I sometime think i am under represented in tech industry. I don't able to build network. Did i get quality people and referrals if i join cohort I am confused for now.
harkirat cohort is worth the money ig cause his syllabus is very different from what you get in typical mern course and also gives overview of almost everything that you might encounter in web dev and devops.
@@someoneunknown2211 depends on how much you already know. If you have good knowledge of web development then buy 3.0 otherwise go for 2.0. Keep in mind that cohort is not for absolute beginners and you will have to study some topics in depth from yt or other resources to actually learn them.
People who think "paid content" will help because hamne pay kiya hai to you are wrong! I got one full year subscription on codedamn and it's 10th month now, still I haven't finished JavaScript!! I am not even rich to afford that one year subscription. But still I not able to learn is because the mindset, mindset plays a very important role. And ofcourse, there is no fault of codedamn here!!
10 months is sick bro!!! Just learn basic js and es6 concepts and make projects. Then learn MERN and make projects on MERN. Then learn about the core JavaScript concepts and how it works under the hood. Don't buy any paid course!!!

Harkirat's the biggest grifter in the Indian tech space. His course was absolute trash. His first cohort was an improv. This is based content, keep at it.
i was thinking of buying his cohort 3.0 which he will launch becasue it seems to have a lot of contect and teachers how open source works. What are your opinion which one out of angela yu or harkirat cohort shoukd i buy. I have very less expericen in web dev

Very true because at last self learning and solving things by yourself will grow your mindset harkirat also told in his latest video that people who start doing by themselves with a pick up (like the cohort) will only hold to be in that 1%
Couldn't have said it better. This is the same reason I refrained from purchasing any DSA course, as I couldn't bear the shame of paying for digital content in the age of the internet(while obviously respecting licenses).

It's such a vast topic to cover, Interview prep is a different game, getting refferals is a different game, actually building shit from first principles is a different game etc etc... Just find a method of learning where you improve the most be it cohort or guided course or whatnot. Mehul says this perfectly its about your mindset. My opinion, the best way to learn is to be honest with yourself and list everything you don't know or understand then go dfs on that.... Don't stop until you can describe or build any system(in your domain) to the level of bytes and functions. Harkirats cohort is a very non linear learning style, throwing yourself into complexity and trying to swim, its hard but very rewarding. Guided courses lead to a very well defined outcome and that's very very helpful given other contraints of life and differences in goals.
What i learn after 3-4 years of programming, is that aap kitne skilled ho ye matter nhi krta agar aap apne aap ko represent naa kr sko, mujhe presonally even i learn lot of things but i can say i am under represented in tech society. The second thing i dont able to find a group of geeks from which i can collabrate. I also think initially like you but I am thinking of join only join paid course to get some network of people so i can upscale myself and grab good opportunity.You know Infinite sum game, but i am confused. Harkirat's course is greatt. He teaches great stuff. The course is just a bit too advanced which might be overwhelming for complete beginners. If a person has studied DSA, OS, and DBMS in their academic classes, then it would be easy to grasp the concepts otherwise please work on your fundamentals.

These are some stuff (not all are languages) that he thought. You can check his yt channel for more info.
He’s right udemy and youtube are the best resources. You just need self discipline. Speaking from personal experience bootcamps and cohorts are a scam. Don’t fall for them guys.
Nobody is thinking like that everybody knows that you have to practice in order to learn skills. He is just guiding us and the tools and topics he touches I have not seen in any of the mern stack courses
I guess it’s not only about spoon feeding, it’s also about which section/level you are targeting like students prefer live courses/cohort because they are completely new to the domain and learn basic stuff via mentor but on other side we have working professionals who prefer self learning platforms (basically we pay for others experiences that’s the reason why I always love your article analysis videos because it involves your thinking and expand our thinking and knowledge base when you say yes this decision sounds right etc.) like educative/paid newsletters etc so it’s just about usecase so imo codedamn is still amazing platform it’s just that we need to change the content according to target section 🤔
ya absolutely .. i just completed his namaste js .. and believe me , he covered topics such as promises , async await in very easy and efficient way . just love the way he teaches .
I have started with bootcamp at the age of 28 without any cs degree and working as a sr developer. As per my understanding bootcamp is fine if you don't know anything. If we have people to guide us that will save our time, because as a beginner we don't know what to learn and what to skip, but mentor will help us in that, and at the end we will learn how to learn on our own.
i've only attended harkirats cohort , and it gave me immense confidence that i can do things on my own by googling without needing someones hand holding all the time

However the whatever content is there is of good quality so no complaints but I feel you guys can push alot than what is being done atm.
