This is part 177 of the series (Boxes 148-149 for Series 3) and Boxes 4-5 to Series 4. I do plan on updating it from each nickel box I hunt from this point forward until the nickel coin collection is completed!

FYI - The Dansco Album does not have spots for some coins but we'll be hunting these boxes of nickels for Silver Nickels, Buffalo Nickels, Proof coins, Old Jefferson Nickels (namely semi-key and key date nickels), Liberty V Nickels and 2009's for their low mintage.
Let's keep our fingers crossed and our eyes open for some valuable Nickels!

I’ve been looking for that 2009 P for my book. I live in the DFW area and it is hard to find the lower mintage 2009 nickels let alone the 2009 P nickels. In fact I’ve found the 1938 S before it!

I seen your program on Tv and love it and seen where you was missing some Nickels to fill up one of your folders and I have a 1939 S mm that you are looking for, and are you still looking for this nickel and the S mm is about half way up by the MONTICELLO and in great shape, do you buy coins. thanks great show. and learning site.

Coingrats on the silver find! I hope you fill out series 3 with a record low box count! I got shocked with my 3 box hunt this past week, finding 2 1939 S nickels (first key date in 30k nickels), a war nickel, and a 1936 D buffalo in the 3rd box! I've yet to find a proof nickel in a box, only in change at the grocery.

That's interesting Rob. Just last week I picked up 2 boxes of pennies both with 0000 stamps on them and I live way up here in Vermont. I wonder if that means anything. GREAT VIDEOS & GREAT FINDS!

I absolutely adore these videos. While I don’t know much about coins, I have a fondness for antiques that tell stories. Having these playing in the background while I draw lets me both focus on my work and get excited whenever you do! I picked up a box today from my local td bank wich will close tomorrow permanently and I have found almost 2 to 3 silvers from each roll the est one was a 1941 and a lot of 1950's and a ton of 1960's

Try a locally owned bank. They tend to be more customer service oriented than the huge nationwide ones. My local bank has no problem ordering whatever I want
