we don’t mind the invasion of privacy- we’ve already put it all out there 😆 i mostly just mean that it’s just so specific to mr. simple’s brain- and how he works things- but so many of you have asked- so we’re gonna try to see if we can make it work!

My oldest is 5 and he has taken a real interest in helping me count our money when we are cash stuffing. He was saying he wanted to have money too so we have started him with a few simple chores around the house for him to earn money and he has really taken to it wanting to help, well for now. He has his own wallet and he gets so excited to put money in it and it’s the cutest thing to see.

Thank you for answering my question. What a lovely plan you have for your children to see a bit of the world. We did the reverse last summer and traveled through the US for 4 weeks. We also waited till they were older so they could appreciate it more. It will be interesting to see what countries you eventually decide on. There are really amazing places to visit in Europe. But then I am biased, being from Europa 😉

I work with excel as well and one way he can share is by creating another worksheet and copy his formulas to that worksheet and create an example using different numbers. I loved your video.

Not to burst your plans BUT my HOA was not happy with my cornflower blue door … it took two years so I was like I’m free and clear ! But nope ! Now I was able to use iron ore also by SW and it’s a deep charcoal almost black … but nope no blue … and I know a lot of us has had to change our paint and I will make sure before I change my whole house they approve …glenda

Great explanation!!!❤ Back when I was in high school, we did have an accounting class that was offered not mandatory. Oh WOW! I love that you are named after the character in “My Girl”. One of my favorite movies!!! I 💯 loved this video… a reality check in so many ways…. I’m proud of myself for not using the credit card for Christmas… granted we did not have a Christmas ( no gifts, but that was ok) we enjoyed being together. I spent my teenage years getting to travel overseas during the summers with my Gma. My absolute favorite places that I would go back to : Ireland, Scotland, Switzerland and Germany(got my first set of Birkenstocks there) and then there were a couple of places I would not go back to 🥴. Paris is pretty just seemed overly expensive

I live near New Castle County, and I agree that this area is the perfect place to live. You can go on day trips to Philadelphia, Baltimore, DC (but why?), New York, and the beaches and come home to sleep in your own bed. Also, you're completely right about Jess! I've been team Jess ever since he arrived in Stars Hollow as a neglected, broken teen. He was way too good for Rory, and she and Logan did deserve each other. OK, off the soapbox now. I enjoy your videos.

Thank you for answering all our questions! Your answers gave a lot to think about. I especially love your look on having height as a requirement for a partner. As a 6'2" tall woman, most boys/men have been shorter than me. Lol. I went for the one that wasn't intimidated by it and didn't mind me wearing heels. Lol. Great video! Can't wait for the next one.

At the school my children attend in Arkansas it is now a requirement for graduation to take a finance class. I believe it's the Dave Ramsey Foundations in Personal Finance course.

I'm sure Mr. Simple spent most of his on the playground chilling out! 🤣 "Cuz your mom" - I'm dead. Maybe it has changed.. I mean I graduated from high school 21 years ago.. But they need to have a budgeting/personal finance class. Growing up my parents didn't talk about money and finances. Or before you get married. Not sure if my comment posted so sorry if it did and this is a duplicate. Sorry for the long comment, I made notes while I watched the video. For the spreadsheet can you copy they spreadsheet and then on the copy put in different numbers and then delete in lines that you don’t want us knowing? In highschool I took a finance class and I believe it was required but not 100% sure. Nothing in college though. You seriously need to switch to a Shopify website. It literally so easy to do and I would be more than happy to help you along the way. Etsy is great if you need traffic to your website but since you have RU-vid you don’t need any outsiders to know about your website. Will you ever share Mr. Simples name? I like calling him Mr. Simple but it also seems weird since I don’t cal you Mrs. Simple. Completely understand wanting to stay anonymous and wasn’t sure if that would give too much info.

it’s not even that we’re afraid to show our actual budget- we share everything with y’all 😆 but! it’s just that it’s not like…a “refined” spreadsheet with fancy formulas and stuff- he legit just adds in the amount of every expense or every bit of income- using the sum function…so it’s not sophisticated….and i just feel like it wouldn’t be beneficial for folks to see because of that.
