why do you have the Xbox version in the arcade section? did you edit this video to make it look like you successfully put sfiii3 rom in coin ops7? that's obviously the free play version for the Xbox.
+LostDamned1947 No such trickery, this is how CoinOPS 7 is out of the box, since the arcade rom can't run very well on xbox he put the next best thing in which was the xbox version and linked it all up. There's no crafty editing here. Whilst this approach may not be authentic it's a very pragmatic solution, and the game plays well, although only at 480p.
+avant1277 my apologies. I was just wondering how there's a preview video and marque on what's supposed to be an Xbox game. thats what threw me off. I've been trying to add my own Marqui for that game. its just not showing up. BTW.. do the rest of the CPS3 games run fine?
+LostDamned1947 here is the marquee. imgur.com/7fEjuM4 the other cps3 games that I tried worked well. CoinOPS 7 Massive has the CPX3 emulator linked in for that. A number of other games use the xbox versions rather than emulate, e.g. Stun Runner, Mortal Kombat II and III, Marvel vs Capcom, Outrun 2.
+avant1277 Thank you!!... question: in what folder exactly do the CPS3 ROMS go for the CPS3 Core to run them? ive tried them in the roms folder but all i get is a CRC invalid error message. And as for those last games you mentioned, i have those roms working fine in the romsOldCore folder.
+LostDamned1947 Not sure, the easiest would be to get lite, gold, or massive (see coinopsproject.freeforums.org/coinops-7-premium-standalone-lite-gold-massive-tiny-released-t4478.html for links) which I believe have the CPS3 already set up. Then copy over the latest standalone and the rest of your build. You can ask the developer (BP) on the linked forum further questions as I don't know so much about the arcade set up, I do more with the computer/console side...
