Did you like the style of this video? Let me know!

Nice video. Love restoration videos. One bit of creative criticism is to balance the volume of you talking vs. Volume of filler music. The filler comes blasting in after you talking. I personally like videos with very low volume or even no filler music. The time lapse parts are great though. Shows what's going on without taking all day. Thanks for recording the process. 👍

Is there a website that sells reproduction parts ? I would love to restore one but I’m not sure how easy it will be to get new or used parts for these machines
@bpprojects6676
@bpprojects6676 3 года назад
There are 2 websites. But i will say this. I will never restore another one. My reasoning is because 65% of the parts are not reproduction. So ive had to buy original parts and restore them. Which takes so long and is completely tedious. Vs a car that you can pretty much buy the entire car in reproduction parts. Once im done with this restoration im retiring from coke machines haha. I have had a blast doing it but its super expensive. Restored machines go for 3000$ to 6000$. Which is every bit of how much its cost me over the past year and 1/2. Hope this helps. Sodajerksworks.com and funtronics.com are both websites for replacement parts.

How did you remove the sign from the machine?
@bpprojects6676

It's been a few years. I believe once the coin bezel is removed. There should be some screws at the bottom, and it pulls out.

Not sure I’m going to be that brave removing that 1960s seal around the logo, very hard to replace. Enjoying the videos. I’ve stopped on my restoration on my cs-64d because I worry about possible asbestos

It was a journey and definitely a learning experience. Dont be too afraid. All you have to do is open up your garage or area, put up a fan, use a respirator. You should be alright. I being very stupid didn't do any of that! Thanks for checking out my videos! If you ever have any questions im always here to help!!!!

@dan Cummings Part 2 of the series. 5:03 into the video I show just "popping" the assembly out. The next video part 3 shows me disassembling the entire logo display! Hope this helps!

Music was far too loud and distracting. Other than that the content was very good.

@@bpprojects6676 ....not trying to nitpick but it was distracting (for me anyway). Just my 2 cents....if you insisted on adding music I would make it fit the project. Since the soda machine is an older/vintage/antique project then softer older type music would be more appropriate. I kind of felt like the music you used would have been more fitting if you were building a Honda Civic, modern dirt bike, etc. Really like the overall content though.

Hey you're no problem at all!!! I love getting feed back like this! It helps me put out better videos for you all to watch! Also, I noticed the music being a distraction before I made my newest video. I really focused on trying to keep the attention on the project rather than time lapse, and montage. Thanks for watching as always!!
