Let the guest be the center of attention and prioritize active listening. This means maintaining eye contact, offering nods of encouragement, and avoiding interruptions. AVOID self-promotion and PRACTICE active listening, you'll improve.
In this podcast, I have understood one thing clearly: Rakin Absar has zero idea about his guest. He didn't even study him properly. This is the main problem in our podcast industry. I don't know what he actually watches. He has no idea about the Bangladeshi ad industry, integrated ads, anime, movies, AI, music, or Coke Studio. I think he was not very smart in school. His content proves it on social media. Another thing he mentioned was the negative clickbait in podcasts, which he ignored in his own. But why, bro? All of your social media content promotes so much negativity. I think you have no idea beyond Gulshan, Banani bhabis, and Mirpur dust!!!!!!!
I think you yourself have very little knowledge about podcasts in general. Watch more western or indian podcasts. It’s not required to know ins and outs and study your guests to know “everything” about them on podcasts. Jani na bolei question kore ber kori. And let my guests answer themselves. If I had known, then I’d be faking my responses. Maybe you skipped school and thus unaware how communication is done at an interview. :) You just wanted to personally insult me and it shows. Your school has clearly missed out on teaching you how to properly communicate your concerns without personal attacks.
@@MrAbsar It seems like you misunderstood my comment. My point wasn't about knowing "everything" about your guest, but having a basic understanding to drive a meaningful conversation. Western and Indian podcasts often do the groundwork, which makes their discussions engaging. Asking questions out of pure ignorance isn't insightful-it’s lazy. Your response suggests that you equate not knowing with authenticity, but there's a thin line between being genuinely curious and unprepared. If knowing some basics means faking responses to you, then perhaps your approach to podcasting needs a rethink. Also, I didn't skip school, but it looks like you might have missed a few lessons on constructive criticism. My comment was about the quality of your content, not a personal attack. Maybe expand your horizons a bit-beyond Gulshan, Banani bhabis, and Mirpur dust. It might just improve your content.
@@JohnPTemme but brother, you're the one who went personal with bringing school, education and how he was not "smart" into the argument. And then calling it "constructive criticism" are you even aware what constructive criticism is? Or just randomly threw a word out of dictionary? lol you seem like an educated guy, so I'd urge you to know the difference. besides it's only season 2, he's been improving since and with every episode. Give him some space. He's not only a podcaster, but also an overall entertainer. If being a podcaster was his sole responsibility, he'd have done better job than anyone in the industry, no doubt.
Rakin its good that u carried the program without any predominant questions, u have tried to go with the flow and pick topic from the conversation but u need to allow your guest to finish the topic, for most of the topic Pritom couldn’t finish because u changed the topic in middle… as a listener it not ideal. For example Pritom was saying from class 2 to 7 he studied, and he was about to say what he did after class 7 but at that very point u raised another question and Pritom couldn’t finish. As a audience I’m still thinking did he discontinued study after 7 or continued. Its a pity!
Rakin bro brands niye kanna kati bad nen....start ur own business( if you didn't already), start a course, make a digital product, make a physical product. Shob creator rai oi dikey jacche. They have moved away from brands or being defendant upon a single platform.
I started watching this podcast with super excitement. Not gonna lie, I like both of their contents but, the way Rakin was interrupting Pritom made me very annoyed. One piece of advice Rakin, you should be a good listener first, let your guest finish talking and then you start. It was very annoying to see you do such - again and again, in fact I couldn't even finish halfway of the video. Hope you'll improve.
I don’t know who you are the person taking interview of Pritom Hasan because i am living out of Bangladesh since last 16 years but i know Pritom Hasan because he is the best singer in the bangladeshi indutry right now. And he is going to be a best actor as well in future. But t i want to give you one advice before taking any interview of any person study about that person’s background who is he or which family he is belongs to. I am very surprised that you don’t even know Khalid Hasan Milu who is legend singer in Bangladesh. And Pritom Hasan is a son of Khalid Hasan Milu. Thank you Pritom Hasan for your Coke Studio songs I have watched all of them and I really loved those best of luck.
I just don't think you can do this whole podcasting thing. No offense but jome nai. Just ekta show korte lagbe bolei kora! And ekaii kotha bole jacche guest ke kisu bolte dao bhai..
I do watch a lot of podcast bro and I know the style of it. I'm a fan of this one too. But you've to accept it Absar bhai that in this one you've done a bad job. You do need some homeworks to host a podcast which you didn't have in this one. I was so excited when I saw Pritom as a guest cause he doesn't do much interviews but from the very beginning your questions and your inability to listen to you guests doesn't to justice to Pritom. Please do admit it bhai and I hope you're gonna say sorry to Pritom too. Take care and well wishes for you
Brother keep the consistency with the podcasts, just like Jon bhai does. Keep it up. Maybe try bringing Tamim iqbal and lets knw abt the entire Tamim-saga fiasco that happened prior 2023 wc.
Rakin please stop this lag dancing while your guest is in front of you. Its very much disrespecting towards guest and before podcast make sure you know about your guests biography n all. Talk less , let your guest talk..
