They all startled and looked upwards to the maestro Amir Zaki sitting on a perch higher above. I am sure he is looking and watching all the music lovers from the Heavens. RIP Amir Zaki
If you remove everything but the poetry from these Coke Studio sessions you can just dive deep into these lyrics and be amazed by every time you read them. Absolutely epic and unmatched.
Finally... Most awaited track come in the light of great knowledge and music sense by you. I also requested you for this. First of all thank you so much for reacting upon this. I always enjoy your reactions, full of music knowledge, sense and not the least harmony. Plz keep reacting on our recommendations, love from Pakistan 🇵🇰
Javed Bashir actually came up in a band called "Meekal Hassan Band" which in my opinion was the most talented and gifted band in Pakistan's history. I suggest you listen to some of their songs from the album Sampooran and especially songs like Sanwal and Darbari, they're not coke studio btw.
I don't speak their languages but Akbar Ali is a GEM. Thank you for reacting. It is your honest and kind disposition, that made me want to subscribe to your channel. I have other songs in mind, but I never offer unsolicited advice. Please let me know if you should want a request.
"Great musicians make space for one another"...👏.! I always love your analysis and review, plus I deeply respect and appreciate your taste and knowledge of great music...You have an actual and precise knowledge of music...I don't know why you're so underrated..?. Your channel should approach millions...Love from Pakistan✔💝💝
Kindly check Amir Zaki's Guitar solo in another Coke Studio performance "Chehra". Amir Zaki was the best guitarist that Pakistan has ever produced. He's no more, May his soul rest in peace.
Thank you John for your interest in the eastern classical music. And you're absolutely spot on - Great musicians and singers communicate with and compliment each others. Keep up you excellent work!
These 3 lines are punch lines. Listen to them in a sequence for those who are not urdu native.. its such a heart-aching in which guy tells to his cruel lover who didn't pay attention towards him. even he die for his love and still kept his eyes open to see if his lover comes back to him and pay attention to him.. I gave my heart - this was the tremendous extext of my trust I gave my life - this was the tremendous extext of my love Even upon dying, my eyes remained open This was the tremendous extent to which I waited for you.
There is another track Naina Moray, produced by RH. That one is quite intricate and interesting. Please give it a shot when you get a chance. Thank you!
Oh dear I can't remember if I've already suggested something but I have some now.. Coke Studio Season 9: "Shamaan Pay Gaiyaan" Season 10: "Ghoom Tana", "Kaatay Na Katay" and "Chaa Rahi Kaali Ghata". Coke Studio 2020: "Ishq Da Kukkar' Always pick the video from Coke Studio and not "PopBox" Nescafe Basement Season 5: "Aadat Instrumental" (Aadat is an early-2000s Pakistani song by the band "JAL", pictured in the Nescafe version is Goher who was part of the band)
You reacted to gem...They all are legends, classics... The one guitarist in the midst of the song named Amir zaki was mysteriously found dead in his house few years ago.
John .. u have ur own observations and everyone should respect that .. u r v smart in making ur points and i agree on so many things u pointed out.. Good Luck Brother 👍
I love your take on Amir Zaki. As a teenager, i would've thought why Amir Zaki is not shredding and tapping like a bad mfer. But as a grown man I see what's actually going on
Sir you are absolutly very good musition and you have well knowlege about music instroment i like way you explain about music i follow your réaction every Time you react
Basically there are 2 songs in this originally sung by the legends Naina Mory by Usad Bary Ghulam Ali Khan @8:02 Man Atkia by Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan . I recomand "Mori Bangri" by Abu Muhammad & Fareed Ayaz in Cokestudio season 4
Oh, I am so very glad to find out that you are aware of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's work. If you wanna know what Pakistani music stands for, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan is the benchmark. Hope to see you react to something by him soon
Back on track with the legendary genre....so I have to beg you to react on khayaal by umair jaswal coke studio season six U would be the first person to react on it
Correction. Great musicians make space for the absolute best projection of composition. They care about the composition and not one another. Music is called composition for a reason. One can stand out and be great. But all can tune in and be legends.
If you really wanna see javed bashir touching that bar.. You should react to ajj latha neyo by javed bashir coke studio...i pretty sure you gonna blown away by that performance
I am much much interested in the cap in his background. So much similar to Pakistani flag. I don't know if he had put it there purposely but it just completes the picture.
