Xulfi was not only a guitarist he was one the lead member of one the Pakistan's top notch Rock band Ep Entity Paradigm you must search "Jila-watan" a live performance of xulfi being a guitarist and "Drum Circule" also.

Xulfi to bhai is the pioneer of heavy progressive rock in Pakistan. Man literally brought linkin park type sound with his band Entity Paradigm (Fawad Khan actor was also the lead singer) And then as the member of band “Call” (listen to Jilawatan). Xulfi is some next level musician!

Xulfi has been a part of many alternative rock bands but his genius has truly shown through once he wore the music producer hat. So as I mentioned to you earlier: 1. Xulfi used to be a part of alternative rock bands such as Entity Paradigm (EP). Our famous actor Fawad Khan was the lead vocalist and he’s a crazy talented actor plus singer. The band concluded a while back but you can check out their song in another musical show from the past, which is Pepsi - Battle of the bands - you will see Xulfi’s crazy guitar skills there along with Fawad Khan. Do you remember listening to the famous Bollywood song, Laree Chootee? With Abhay Deol in it? That song was from movie Ek Chalis ki local I think.. anyhow, that was Xulfi’s creation too and their band Call sang it and then gave it to Bollywood too. Xulfi had some of the new and emerging Pakistani artists reinvent the song when he started his first musical production show, Nescafé Basement. His voice and intellect and sheer creativity is in a league of his own. 3. Xulfi’s Call the band had another amazing vocalist. Xulfi played guitar there. Lead vocalist was Junaid Khan - another crazy gifted singer and now a successful actor like Fawad Khan. It’s so diabolical to see how everyone and anyone associated with Xulfi ends up shining so much more afterwards. He has literally brought forward crazy talent in Pakistan. So one of their songs that they played on another musical show in the past that gained a lot of fame is Jilawatan - heavy metal influenced song. This was Nescafé Basement and it ran side by side of Coke Studio which was being run by another genius producer at the time. But you see, Coke Studio Pakistan has mostly been featuring renditions of older PakistaniMusic with modern takes - well up until Season 13. And it featured mostly well-established Pakistani singers. Nescafé Basement, however, featured almost all underground and emerging Pakistani talent. It had 5 seasons and Xulfi brought forth the next series of young emerging artists in it. You know Karakoram the band for this song, Ye Dunya? Well, take a wild guess where they were formed? Yes, Nescafé Basement. The vocalist is Sherry Khattak. The guy with the crazy rock/metallic sound. Hear his song Fanaa from almost a decade ago when he was so young that you won’t even recognize him. And the guitarists you heard - Omair, Zain and Annan are also from the same show. They all formed a band afterwards. Sherry, the vocalist, is also now part of Coke Studio team with Xulfi on the audio side and you will see him working alongside with him in the Behind the scenes magical journeys. Bilawal was the drummer in other Coke Studio Season 14 songs too. You can’t miss him and his lovely curls hehe. Anyhow, I’m writing so much here because Xulfi deserves this space to be mentioned and applauded for all that he has done for Pakistani music. For bringing relevance and reviving Pakistan culture through his hits in today’s world. 5. Another one of his discoveries is the very young and dynamic Abdullah Siddiqui. He has been associate music producer with Xulfi in both Seasons 14 and 15.
