Colț Monastery - The Mysteries of the Saints and the Miracle of the Renaissance 

Colț Monastery, located in the village of Suseni in Râu de Mori commune, Hunedoara county, is a place full of history and spirituality. Founded by the Candea family in the 14th century, the church impresses with its Gothic elements and marble dust plastering. The square tower above the altar, also used as a defense tower, houses three overlapping chambers, where holy bones were discovered. Local legends tell of miracles and revelations, including Father Daniel, who, after trying to take some of the holy relics and being paralyzed, was healed as soon as he returned them. Today, the reborn monastery continues to be a place of pilgrimage and prayer, bringing together believers and monks in search of peace and spirituality.
