Israel's morality is tribal; tribal morality is based on the exclusive rights of the members of the tribe, not unlike family morality that entitles certain individuals rights not shared by those not in the family; 'modern' morality is secular, based on universal human rights that are based on our common humanity, that we are self-conscious beings (as distinct from animals that are conscious, but not self-conscious) which has little if anything to do with being a member of a tribe or biological family; so claiming that Israel has collapsed morally is not accurate, insufficiently precise; it depends on what sort of morality one means; by the standards of its own morality, tribal morality, Israel is being entirely moral; personally, I think secular morality is more humane than tribal morality as it includes all human beings whereas tribal morality is exclusive and permits tribal members to treat others not of the tribe in ways that violate their nature as self-conscious beings; but what if the Jewish god exists or if one is convinced, as Israelis apparently are, that he exists? then his commands to the Jews must be obeyed by them, e.g., that Palestine is the promised land, that the Jews are the 'chosen people', that therefore they must commit ethnic cleansing against the Palestinians, in short, what we call atrocities are from Israel's god's perspective entirely legitimate.

I just read Vanessa Beeley's recent report (multinational rogue journalist out of Aleppo, Syria). Colonial Wilkerson is correct. The US is expanding their foothold in Iraq (Iraq has supposedly signed an agreement with British BP Oil). The Kurds the US/Israeli government hires lost their oil well territories to hardened Syrians, not regular governmental troops. A new US facility is going up on the Israel/Jordan border, where those two unsuspecting American troops were killed. It appears that a larger war is the plan, despite the protestations of the West. The US would have better invested in cooperation and friendly relationships with other states then all the damaging wars. All parties would be making Business and would be better of.
