I think the taster should have cleared his mouth with tap water after each tasting and maybe waited 30 something secs in order to "reset his taste buds" and sensations perceived and coordinated by the brain (if you want, the central nervous system). Me I would have repeated the test several times to check myself regarding consistence of results. I understand this tasting is a first attempt.
Hazumi Hanami Used to be like that here in Norway, but I've made two of my local shops import Dr. Pepper and other sodas :). Just ask them all the time to get some for you. Imported Dr. Pepper is expensive here, however I've found Norwegian made Dr. Pepper a few times now. Looks like some Norwegian company has started making it. You too should make someone sell it or make it.
Man trinkt dosengetränke doch nicht aus nen glas ey schön blöd das ist so als würde man in cod nen sniper duell machen(theoretisch) aber mit ner shotgun zocken

"Dr Pepper is Not a Cola: According to the Texas Handbook Online, prior to a 1963 district court ruling bottlers could not carry Dr Pepper along with Pepsi-Cola or Coca-Cola without violating their franchise contracts because they were not permitted to bottle competing brands. But in 1963 the United States Fifth District Court in Dallas declared that Dr Pepper was not a cola, thus allowing Dr Pepper to expand its reach."
W.W. Clements, former CEO and president of the Dr Pepper/7-Up Company, described the taste of Dr Pepper as one-of-a-kind, saying, "I've always maintained you cannot tell anyone what Dr Pepper tastes like because it's so different. It's not an apple, it's not an orange, it's not a strawberry, it's not a root beer, it's not even a cola. It's a different kind of drink with a unique taste all its own."
Unlike Coca-Cola and Pepsi, Dr Pepper is not marketed as a cola. Dr Pepper's flavor is allegedly derived from a mixture of soda fountain flavors popular when the drink was first devised. A partial list of these flavors can be seen at the bottling plant in Dublin, Texas, although the formula itself (with its twenty-three ingredients) is a closely guarded secret.
