Colander firelighting and marshmallow roasting 

i ask because i am looking for a wood pellet basket to use in my zero clearance fireplace rather than pay the price of an actual pellet basket.

Than Oliver its stainless steel so yes it does hold up this fire is max 700*C and stainless can take up to 1500*C
