Gotta explain something. Zekka is doing inward bass. Colaps though, in his counter, is NOT doing inward bass. He can do inward bass but not like on the level to do it onstage. Instead he is doing a snort bass

Here to explain an inside joke again 😂 Zekka says “maybe you should stop beatboxing and start playing bingo” because Colaps makes videos where he records a short routine and asks beatboxers to add their own stuff to it. On one video he did a routine called “Bingo” and Zekka made the craziest duo out of it. Colaps has a crazy RU-vid channel with really original stuff so make sure to check it out sometime!! The video I’m talking about is called “I asked epic beatboxers to duet with me” if I remember correctly. He also has a cool series called a 100 beatboxers where they answer the same question, I’m sure you would love it ☺️

What ur doing is a vocal fry. What you need to do is tighten ur throat like the throat bass but inwards. It is VERY HARD. I’ve been trying to learn it for about 3 months and I barely get any vibration from it. Just a lot of hard work and practice lol. And water don’t forget H2O ❤️

The breathing in sound is Inward Bass. The proper way to do it is to basically do chest bass inward (for those who know how to do chest bass). However, I started off doing inward bass about 3 years ago back when I didn't know how to do chest bass. I just breathed inward and kind of put some pressure on my lungs. Note: This sound takes the majority of people an absolute long period of time to learn and master but once you master it, you will be super happy. ( I suggest that you search for more tutorials because there are beatboxers that can explain it better, like KindoBeatbox, Young Recluse, Antilt, etc. ) Hope this helps bro. Keep up what you're doing bro! Edit: This sound can hurt your throat if you overdo it, so make sure to drink a lot of water and give yourself a break after practicing it for a little while. 😉

what you're doing is called an inward fry. inward bass is harder imo. some can do it by just inhaling but there are different techniques on doing it.

Dlow did a Video about the decision he made and why he chose Zekka. Colaps and Zekka for him were on the same level. He had only 3 categories where they didn't. One was in favour of Colaps (I think it was compexity) one for Zekka (I don't know which one) and the third was enjoyment of listening. That decision made him chose Zekka. He said they were equal but had to choose one and chose Zekka because his sounds were longer and easier to understand because he didn't spam them like Colaps. That was about 0,5 points he gave Zekka more lol. So he chose Zekka.
